Potassium Bicarbonate
Product Name: Potassium Bicarbonate
Molecular formula: KHCO3
Molecular weight: 100.114
CAS NO.:298-14-6
HS CODE: 28364000
Property:
Potassium Bicarbonate is colorless and transparent crystal. The
relative density is 2.17. It is stable in the air. It is soluble in water, forming a
slightly alkaline solution, but insoluble in alcohol. The solution can not react
with magnesium salt yielding precipitate of alkaline salt. It begins to decompose
at 100°C and completely decomposes and turns into Potassium Carbonate
losing carbon dioxide and water at 200°C.

Handling and Storage:
Store in dry and ventilated house away from moisture. Don't store in goods yards or expose to the air.
Protect the material from rain when loading and unloading. Be sure to keep the package dry and free
from contaminant. Avoid handling and transporting together with acid substances. In the event of a fire,
use water as extinguishing agent.
Applications :
Potassium Bicarbonate is used as a raw material producing potassium carbonate, potassium acetate
and potassium arsenite. Also it is a fire extinguishing agent for oil and chemicals. It is used in medicine
and baking powder.
FAQ
1.Q: What is MOQ?
A: Our MOQ is 1 TON.
2.Q: Could you offer free sample?
A: We can provide free samples to you for quality testing.
3.Q: What about your packing?
A: For liquid: Flexitank, or IBC tank 1000L
For powder:Woven fabric bag with plastic film liner( 25kg or 1000kg)
Clients’ packing is workable.
4.Q: How about your productive capacity?
A: 150000 tons/Year.
5.Q: What is your delivery time?
A: Within 7 days after received deposit or L/C at sight.
- Q: and what are the kinds of organic compounds?..pls. help me abt. this..thanks!..(^_^)
- I think organic compunds are anything with Carbon(C), although I really don't know.
- Q: For example, sulfates can emit SO2 or SO3 gas. If this were to occur in this experiment, would the % H2O calculated from the data be too high or too low? Explain.
- You would measure the mass lost, and you would assume that this is equal to the amount of water that was in the sample. So decomposition would add to the mass lost during heating and this would lead you to overestimate the amount of water that was in the sample, and overestimate the %h20.
- Q: For patients with ulcerative colitis, which inorganic salt foods can eat?
- Inorganic salts with water-soluble and can not oxidize the combustion and other properties, plays a role in maintaining the body's acid-base balance and metabolism.
- Q: The human body does not intake of minerals can be? Lack of minerals on the human body what kind of harm?
- Mineral is a naturally occurring compound or natural element in the crust, and minerals, like vitamins, are essential elements of the body, and minerals are not self-contained. Generated, synthetic, daily intake of minerals is basically determined, but with age, gender, physical condition, environment, working conditions and other factors are different.
- Q: Eat what food can add inorganic salt
- Most of the food contains inorganic salts, the so-called inorganic salts, also known as minerals or ash. Minerals are naturally occurring compounds or natural elements in the crust. There are about 50 kinds of minerals in the human body, although they in the human body only 4% of body weight, but it is an essential part of the organism. According to their content in the body how much can be divided into constant elements and trace elements two categories. The body is actually composed of various elements (macro and trace). Many of these mineral elements are essential components of the enzyme, which can regulate a variety of physiological functions (such as maintaining osmotic pressure, oxygen transport, muscle contraction, nervous system integrity), but also tissue and bone growth and maintenance necessary. Some (such as calcium, phosphorus, sodium, magnesium, sulfur, chloride) content is large, while others are only trace. Human essential trace elements are cobalt (such as vitamin B12), copper, fluorine, iodine, iron, zinc, chromium, selenium, manganese, molybdenum In terms of its impact on experimental animals, nickel, tin and arsenic should also be considered necessary. Most minerals (except zinc) are widely distributed in a variety of foods and can be fully supplemented by balanced and diversified diets. However, there is a need for additional supplements to patients who have been relying on intravenous nutrition for long periods of time, infants and older persons, or because of the lack of regionalities caused by soil and water quality.
- Q: List the major electrolytes released by inorganic salts when placed in water and explain how these electrolytes are needed for metabolic reactions.
- Which "inorganic salts" are you talking about? There are hundreds!
- Q: Is calcium carbide inactive?
- Calcium carbide, the chemical formula for the CaC2, not inorganic salts. Salt refers to the metal ions and acid ions of the compound, calcium carbide does not have the corresponding acid.
- Q: Why are inorganic sodium salts much better soluble in ethanol than potassium salts?
- The reason seems to be : - Ionization potential of pottasium is lower than that of sodium ,thereore potassium salts are more polar as compared to sodium salts; - Potassium being more reactive than the sodium reacts faster withbwater,
- Q: A. oxygen demanding wastesB. organic plant nutrientsC. inorganic plant nutrientsD. water soluble inorganic chemicalsE. sediment
- Acids, D. water soluble inorganic chemicals salts, D. water soluble inorganic chemicals metals E. sediment
- Q: would heterotrophic organism grow well in inorganic salt media? why or why not?
- No. Heterotrophs get energy from the environment in the form of chemical bonds within organic molecules (such as glucose). An inorganic salt medium would not supply the needed organic molecules. Your heterotroph would starve.
