Actually we are only manufacturer of solar panels, but we could try to source them for you in China if you need. We could provide you an optimal system design to instruct you how to install.

Q: Hello from SO TX.. I would like to know if anyone out there has SOLAR PANELS on their home?I have a 850 sq ft. house. I called Austin to a company that offers panels and installation. The cost $8,000.00, for 0 panels . The rep said we would save about 2 to 25% on our electric bill /mo. We use approximately 980 kw/mo. Our bill is around $40.00 / mo...I really don't think that's a good enough savings. We figure it would take 25 years to recoup our investment.And where we live in TX it does not offer any incentives. The gov. allows you a $2000.00 tx break.
Be glad you didn't buy. The current products are dinosaurs, 50 year old over priced tech. Don't lose hope though. The thin film tech is just now starting production. It's not yet available to the general public ( production for the next year is already sold out), but will be in the near future as production capacity increases. It should drop prices to about /4 of the current price, and your recoup time will be about 7 years. Go ahead and research thin film solar, and be thankful you didn't buy a product the government has to pay you to buy.
Q: Can I add more solar panel let say up to 200 watt and adding two 2 volts battery using the same charges controller and power inverter?
If you put a black panel on the ground or on your house and don't connect it to anything, it will absorb solar energy (heat) during daylight and release it at night (radiation). Not exactly. Assuming the black panel establishes an equilibrium temperature, it's going to be losing exactly as much heat as it's receiving during the day. Some will radiate out into space, some will conduct or convect into the atmosphere. As a wild guess, maybe 50/50. If you hook up a solar panel in the same place but hook it up to batteries, charge the batteries during sunlight hours and using that energy to electrically heat the home at night. The panels will absorb solar energy during the day but will convert that to electrical energy in the batteries instead of radiating it back into space at night. The panels are only about 4% efficient, so it's the same situation as the pure black panel for 86% of the energy. The remaining 4% will get stored in the batteries and then converted to heat at night. That heat will eventually leak out of the house and warm up the Earth a tiny bit. I think it's much the same situation either way. With the black panel the energy gets radiated / conducted/convected right away. With the solar panel a small percentage is stored and not so much is radiated, mostly conducted and convected. You're partly right as a black panel is going to radiate more into space than a house. But you're taking about maybe some day about 4% of % of the differening radiation/convection/conduction fraction, of the Earth's surface area. Probably not significant.

Absolutely not. This is a myth. The energy payback of a solar panel far outweighs its cost. With current technology (which is vastly improving every year), the payback begins in about -4 years depending on climate. This means that after -4 years, the solar panel has generated the same amount of energy that was used in its entire creation up until the point that it was installed. The panel will then continue to generate power for another 20-25 years at 90-98% capacity if properly maintained. The U.S. Department of Energy has conducted extensive studies on the subject and the results (which i'm quoting) can be viewed on their PV Faq page...
Q: If you want to instal solar panels...how often do you have to replace them?
Expect a water heating panel to last about the same as a water heater, 0 to 5 years. Actually, my brother's system is coming up on 5 years, and is not giving trouble yet, so maybe technology has advanced. I have actually never personally known of anyone replacing a solar electric panel due to wear-out. I have heard of occasional replacements due to accidents, including natural disasters like lightning strikes. And one brand of panels had manufacturing defects around the year 2000, but that manufacturer owned up and replaced those free of charge to their customers. A standard warranty on a solar electric panel nowadays is 25 years.

Q: I have an off-grid 24volt existing system using 8 x 80 watt 2volt, wired at 24volts, mono solar panels with deep cycle batteries,operating now. I have been given a 240 2volt polly cryst. panel. Can I add this panel to existing panels as above. Thank you, dumb solar man
Assuming that you have / will upgrade wiring sizes to carry the extra wattage, that the new total wattage resulting from the addition doesn't overload any existing charge controller, diodes and / or inverter you have installed, then paralleling it straight into one of the other 2 volt groups should do nothing but add current to the system. True, it will be somewhat imbalanced, but it will work. Your other options would be to reconfigure everything down to it's native 2 V configuration which will raise current and lower voltage, with the additional panel creating the additional current to raise the wattage or to put it in series with the other 4 panel clusters so that you would get 36 V and additional current to account for the raised wattage. One last approach might be to set it up on another battery bank of it's own (small and at 2 V) to then connect to the same inverter. You'd be getting more power and storage capability that way, sort of a partial backup system, really, that will take some of the load off the other components to help extend their useful lives and get a bit more flexibility into it as well. The choice is yours here. That is all the ways that the system can be connected in, assuming everything in the first sentence checks out;-) It's difficult to make a recommendation without knowing what other components are in use and what the maximum ratings they carry are. Just remember that parallel connections add current and voltage stays the same, series connections add voltage and the current remains the same and you can figure out what to do with this thing to help you if you stay within maximum ratings for the charge controller, diodes and / or inverter involved.
