- A few things: CLEAR windex. This stuff is awesome and it's designed to cut oil (a mild degreaser). Get yourself a big jug (the generic stuff is pretty much just as good as the regular brand stuff), spray or pour some onto the spots, rub together and let it sit for 5 minutes. Then, put some laundry detergent right onto the spot, rub it and put it all into the washer. (make sure that if the windex has ammonia in it, you don't use a detergent with bleach or bleach alternative cause it will make poisonous gas if you mix them!) Pour your normal amount of detergent in. Do a wash in HOT water, pull the clothes out and check the spots. If they're still there, repeat. Whatever you do, don't run the clothes through the dryer until you're happy with how cleaned up the spots are, or else they'll bake in for all of eternity.

- as far as I'm aware no they aren't! But it still doesn't stop you from creating your own items from sheet lead. It's a dying art, but locating an older plumber, who maybe able to shed some light on how to do it. I have seen it done the guy used a blow torch with a 00 tip on his oxygen/acetylene very difficult to light for the home handyman! Apart from that the torch was used only had a light neutral flame as not to melt the lead too much.On top of that welding lead can be quite deadly these days! The chap I watched with amazement made a lovely weld similar to welding steel. So it can still be done! But as for purchasing old lead pipes accessories today I wouldn't think so as PVC has taken over the market is so much easier to use if done nicely can look quite stunning. Cheers!

- I would not go modifying smoke detectors, and I have never seen a 'plug and play' add-on for a louder siren Smoke detectors as they are have a pretty ear-piercing sound. Maybe add another detector to the system right in your bedroom?

- If you attend that college you will probably get permanently kicked off campus, not allowed to live in the dorms. Then the school might also expel you from the college, not allowing you to attend as a student anymore. You DID cause property damage if you set off fire extinguishers because those cost money! They now have to be replaced (all the ones you set off). Also the fire department might charge the college for being called for a false alarm OR the town/city can fine YOU with paying an expensive bill for them to come out to the school for a false alarm. You might also get arrested and/or fined by the town/city. Don't do pranks like this because they aren't funny and can have serious bad consequences.
