High Quality Galvanized and PVC Coated Welded Wire Mesh

Resistance welded at every cross section, welded wire mesh has several advantages over woven  wire mesh. It is much more rigid than woven wire screen because it is locked in place at every intersection by a resistance weld. This makes it ideal when there is a lot of shearing or cutting to be done or when manufacturing products that require high rigidity. By welding the wires together (instead of weaving them) the material can hold it's shape without supports, allowing shearing, rolling, and framing to be done with relative ease! The end wires will not fray off the way they do with woven wire mesh because all the wires are locked in place by a weld. Industrial applications such as cage building, machine guarding, and wire displays are a few places one is likely to find welded wire mesh.
Welded wire mesh is primarily available in low carbon steel (plain steel), stainless steel alloys and galvanized steel. Due to high electrical conductivity welded wire mesh is not available in aluminum, copper, and other highly electrical conductive metals and alloys.
Welded wire mesh has been manufactured now for almost a century. As manufacturing processes have become faster and more economical, the use of weldedwire mesh has become more widespread and has replaced woven wire mesh in many applications.
