Q: I shorted 578 shares of (kbh), avage price of $14.435 and that is pocket change. We need to flush more dead beats out of getting a home loan, and push them to renting.I expect real estate to double dip, which I can benefit vastly from short sold investments and repackage it back on the market for a marginal profit. Why do Democrats think by printing $ is good for the long term?
It seems to be just artificially increasing the cost of housing the value of housing. Since banks are the ones who own a lot of it- they can't be taking a loss- everyone else collectively can just work harder to afford the same houses.
Q: I don't want to be Donald Trump or anything. But I would like to set a goal of owning 100 apartment units. I'm not too sure how to start my endeavor, I'm hoping after I take business I'll have learned all the ins and outs for investing real estate. If anybody could kindly give me some suggestions on how I should start this venture that'd be great

Q: I just got my real estate license and I would like to know if someone could give me some good advice on where to start to get on my feet. Thanks!
You don't make a dime until you sell something. Then you paid your commission when the transaction closes. If a company requires you to attend a training class that's great! But they will pay you the minute your first deal is finished. Any company who wouldn't I wouldn't want to work for!
Q: I'm 22 married with no children. Just received my bachelors in february. Currently working in a salaried sales position, ben there 9 months, about 100 miles from my home and im completely miserable. I really want to pursue my dream of being a real estate agent. I love the independence of the career. I'm wondering, though, if I could even make money as an agent now? Im young but I still have bills that need to be paid so I cant pursue something that won't bring us money.
Stay with the job that you are at and start your real estate career part time. That way you will still be able to afford to pay your bills because when you first start out as an agent it may take you 90 days before your first transaction. The time is excellent to go to real estate school now so that when the market starts to climb you will be able to get out there right away. If you wait until the market is good, you'll be in school while everyone else will be hitting the ground. Do not take online real estate classes if you want the expertise of an agent who may be teaching a course at your local college or an independent real estate school.
Q: I will be headed to Jamaica in January for a week (Ochos Rios) and was wondering what kind of business opportunities or real estate opportunities exist in that area that I might be interested in checking out.If there are any, with whom should I get in contact to get more information? What kind of hoops am I going to have to jump through in Jamaica to start/buy a business or buy real estate? Thanks.
check okorder . hope this help you
Q: Ok so right now I'm 16 and i have an interest in real estate and also in a side job. I'm going to be attending college in a couple years to get some minor degrees such as building, business, mechanical, and drafting. And i was wondering if being a real estate agent would be appropriate for me right now. I know now's not the best time to sell. But if i sell one (1) small property, that would pay as much as i get in a year at my little call in part time job. I also am friends with many of the Realtors around the local area, so i know that would help. So my question is, would this be a suitable job for someone like me? Is there an age requirement? Does it take more the two semesters to get your license? And is this a full-time, hands-on, type job? Thanks!
I must congratulate you on your strong initiative and desire to work, make money and add value to the economy!! There were already some good answers here for you, especially 'loanmaster's' comment. It's probably the case that you would need to be 'of age' to get a real estate license anyway. It sounds like earning money is the part of the equation that would best help you at this point and it sounds like knowing how to do that would be the thing that really makes a difference for you. There are ways to make in anything (real estate included) by intimately knowing the details of the market and business practices. It's never too early to begin learning those things. One thing that would be good for you to do is to figure out some type of product that you could sell to others so that you're, in effect, working for yourself while you're going to school and building continuing your education. Also, read, read, read! There are tons of books on real estate, investing and sales. One great book that I read when I was your age that has contributed to my success is THINK and GROW RICH by Napoleon Hill. Keep looking, searching and researching! Best Wishes, EricJ
Q: Here's how I qualify:-My Outgoing Personality-Having Asperger Syndrome, helping me be able to memorize facts & statistics-That drive and passion for something I love-Wanting to someday raise a family, while living in an ideal home after making sales on homesI'm also planning to take a real estate class at my local community college real soon. Let me know what you think, thanks!
You do not have to be 21, or at least not in some states. I received my real estate license at the age of 19 and have been/and will be working as an assistant until this summer when I will start being a full time real estate agent. Most likely a company will take you in, but keep in mind that selling expensive houses and gaining respect will be harder than you originally imagined, especially if you are just selling as a side job.
Q: I'm looking to get in the field of real estate appraisal school, but can't afford the fees .I have 4 children and trying to better their lives.can anyone tell me what would be a good school or a service that would help me.
Um...well, considering the market in real estate lately, I would not recommend it at all. If you want something stable, do not go into real estate. However, the courses are inexpensive. I know of one community college in Ohio that does provide financial aid. The courses are short, too. You can get the courses done in a matter of months. If you live in Ohio, contact me and I will tell you the info. However, the chances of you living in Ohio close to the community college where I live is slim to none. I would suggest looking into community colleges near you. Again, if you are looking to improve the lives of your children. Do not go into real estate. There are other alternatives, but they may take longer than a few months. The pain, I believe, is worth the gain. Feel free to e-mail me with any questions.
Q: Well, you see, I'm 16 in my junior year at high school, and I'm planning to be an international real estate agent, but I need to know what courses to take and which colleges would benefit me the best. I'm planning to do work between Germany and the US. I'm in my third year of German and planning to take my fourth, but I need to know what other courses in high school/college would benefit me best.Thank you!
Usually, people high up in real estate have a business admin degree among other things. You can contact your local real estate board or division and ask for the necessary courses for passing your local real estate boards, any special designations etc. They would also know where you can find out more information on international work. You may also want to consider becoming a foreign exchange student or living and working abroad for awhile. Good luck!
Q: How do i become a real estate agent? Im a junior in High School so I would really prefer that areal estate agent answer. I would like to now all the steps, if any that I should take now, How old i need to be to get my liscence and all.Thank you!
While the requirements vary slightly from state to state, but this is the bulk of what you need to do. Graduate High School. You are required to have a diploma or a GED Take a pre-license class from a real estate school accredited by your state. Many brokerages offer the class, and it costs between $200 and $800. The class can usually be completed in two weeks, or spread over a longer period of time. Have a felony free criminal record (though some states real estate commissions will allow you to request a waiver for some acts, such as DUI) Take and pass your state's sales associate test. Good Luck!
