- Q: i got a new sweater, and it says to hand wash it...what kind of soap should i use?? how do i wash it in the sink...i'm completely clueless and i'm afraid i'll stretch it...
- Buy some Woolite at the grocery (small white bottle). Fill your sink with cold water, add one capful of Woolite. Put your sweater in, swish it to get it saturated. Let it sit for about 5 mins, then go back and swish it around in there, squeeze the suds thru, and then drain your sink. Fill it back up twice to rinse the sweater (again swish/squeeze the suds out). Take the sweater out, wrap it in a towel, and squeeze gently to get most of the water out. Re-shape it, and lay it flat to dry. Do not wring/twist your sweater after removing it from the water. Always use the towel to remove the water.
