Q:I tried the samsung gear vr and the phone i used it with has 2,560x1,440 pixels. Watching videos and looking at pictures were pretty fuzzy and had that screen door effect. the oculus rift has 2160×1200 pixels. I havent seen the oculus rift yet, but i preordered it. Q:I have a 1969 house and the back side of the roof has a very flat pitch. I talked to a roofer that did his mom's house up the street, which is the same style as mine, and did rubber roof on the backside where it is less then the 2 inch rise/ft for shingles. I later read more on rubber roofing and I know that the petrolium in the asphalt shingles would destroy the epmd rubber if they touched but is there a proper way to make a seam at the roof cap to go from rubber on the flat backside to the cap and have asphalt front side?The roof is leaking in several places and did a lot with one bad snow storm that caused ice damming on the flat side. I was told a rubber roof would pretty much solve that problem. I have vaulted exposed beam ceilings with no attic and no insulation cavity so heat loss is excessive. I have also been searching for solutions to increase the R value of the roof. Q:Hello everyone, I just bought the Toshiba E45-B4100 notebook today. It seems to have 6GB of DDR3 RAM already installed, but I am not a tech expert whatsoever. I have a few RAM chips from old computers and I was wondering if I could install one of them to upgrade the Toshiba. The RAM chips are a Samsung 2GB M471B5773CHS-CH9 chip and a Samsung 2GB M470T5663EH3 chip. Would either of those work in this computer? Also, how should I go about upgrading the RAM (do I need safety gloves, etc)? On another note, I am considering upgrading to a SSD in this computer. Any recommendations?
