Q:Husband replaced heater core, been frustrating. He's got dash half way on but has a connector that he cant find what it plugs into. (prob something he forgot behind whats already together) PLEASE help. It's near the wires and connectors for the heating/cooling dials, lighter etc. Its white (not good at guessing measurements) about 1 x 1.5 in. rectangle- almost square. There are 5 little kind of cone shaped plugs on it, by plugs i mean the mail parts that would plug into where ever its supposed to go. Anyone know?
The color of the wires (including the tracer color) would be helpful and the number of terminal pins in the connector (number of wires) NOTE: It would also be helpful if you could post a picture of the connector. It is also possible this is an extra plug that would be used on a different equipment option. ADDED: Thanks for the update with the picture!, This is not an electrical connector, this is a vacuum connector, this is the vacuum connection to the rear of the HVAC control head, it locks onto the HVAC mode vacuum control switch (the one that says floor, A/C, MAX A/C etc. You won't have to take too much back apart to install this connection! Good Luck
Q:hello, need to find out what codes my ecu is putting out. went to autozone and they couldnt read cuz of year but gave me metal key with two prongs on it. i know it is one of the connectors around the fuse box under my drivers side dash. could someone tell me with one and what two holes the key goes into? they also said to turn the key on and off a few times and count the check engine light blips for codes is this right? thanks for help! Jason
There are two ways to test for any CEL codes that your engine might be putting out. You can stop at any Radio Shack and pick up a .5 volt buzzer and two gator clips. Connect the gator clips to the buzzer, then to the 1 (I believe) and the number 16 (I believe) pins on the Data Connector that should be near the hood release. The pins are on the top left and bottom right, or the top right and bottom left. Then with the key, do this sequence ON, OFF, ON, OFF, ON. The CEL will begin to blink and the buzzer will begin to sound. You can either count the buzzes, or count the CEL blinks, this will give the code you can reference to. Below is the list for the 4G37 Trouble Codes/CEL codes.
Q:Hi ! Now my problem is that I don't know if it's safe to try the 4-Pin within the 8-Pin? (My motherboard has an 8-Pin) So I bought this Motherboard, (GA-P55-USB3) and I bought a PSU with 650W. I don't know the needs for my CPU, if it won't work because of the 4-Pin. My processor is an Intel Core i5 760 2.8Gz. Does this processor need an 8-Pin, or will it work with a 4-Pin.If this won't work, can someone of you suggest a store where I can get one? Preferably a Norwegian one. (A site that ships this kinda stuff to Norway would be great as well.)Also, I've been looking on some sites where they sell these connectors, but they don't ship off to Norway. Now I read something about a F-and M-side of the connectors? What does this mean?(Sorry if my English isn't all great and stuff)Thanks !
The motherboard needs to have the 8 pin plug for CPu and for other buss items. What type/model is the 650w power supply? The F and M side of a connector usually means Male/Female.
Q:I MUST be hard-headed 'cuz I just DON'T understand!! I bought a few games taht are Wi-Fi compatible, and I am new to this whole Nintendo DS deal, so I really need help. To my knowledge it is possible to use a Wi-Fi Connector while playing Pokemon Diamond/Pearl to battle other trainers from ALL over the world! I don't know if my sources are right but I was told that this Wi-Fi Connector had to be used at home on my computer using the Internet connection. My question is how is it possible for me to actually LEAVE my house or even be anywhere for that matter and STILL be able to interact with other users around the world? Or is that even possible. Somebody please explain to me the full functions of this Wi-Fi Connector because it's driving me crazy!! Thanks!Confused and Frustrated : ' D
All right. You DON'T need the USB connector to connect to Wi-Fi. As long as you have a wireless internet connection, you should be fine. If you don't, or it's not working and you've tried it a lot, the USB connector is ~$30. :) If you leave your house, you probably won't be able to still be interact with other users as you're leaving the wireless connection. Unless you live somewhere like Mountain View, CA where they have Wi-Fi throughout the entire town. McDonalds and some other places have Wi-Fi there, too. I wouldn't know about Pokemon, but usually you'll have to configure the connection before you start playing. For example, on Mario Kart DS, when you first try to connect, it takes you to a screen to configure the connection. You input all the info it needs, and click OK. Then, (hopefully), you'll be able to play. Sometimes, though, it doesn't work. It took me a LONG time to get the Wi-Fi to finally work. Good luck!
Q:I am installing my new JVC kw-r910bt aftermarket stereo, and I'm also wiring the harness, so my question is can I use 16-14 butt connectors to wire the harness?
Yes, that is a very common use for those connectors. Use the correct size for the wires you are joining. You may still wish to wrap the connectors and excess wire with electrical tape, when you are done to keep things tidy.
Q:I need to buy a replacement charger for an Acer Aspire 4330-2403 series and for an Acer Aspire 4730Z series laptop. I know I need a 19V 3.42A charger for both, but I'm having trouble finding out the size of the connector tip that will work for these laptops.
Go to Future Shop. They sell power chargers that come with multiple tips. One of the tips will work. I ran into a similar problem with my own Acer Aspire and had to buy a new charger for it as well. It cost me $60 for the new charger and it came with 6 different tips. By the way, don't ask a salesman to help you. They will steer you to the $120 one every time.
Q:A customer needs 88, 2-inch pipe connectors to complete a project. How many bags of connectors would you recommend the customer purchase if each bag includes 25 connectors?
four, three is not enough. But 2 couplings of any kind should be sold singly.
Q:Apple recently upgraded the Pin Connector on the iPhone 5 and the iPad 4 to the new Lightning Connector rather then the old 30-Pin Connector. So, I was just wondering why did Apple take the time to change it? Like does the Lightning Connector make it charge faster, or what? Thanks!
The only improvement of the new connector is to Apple's earnings circulation by using forcing the acquisition of new accessories by the sheep (you, the uninformed trendsetting patron). Spend, fools, spend! Did you believe they were a charity?
Q:A just Got a dsi but i can't get it to work with the nintendo WI-FI connector. I was wondering if its possible to use them together.
yes it is compatible
Q:i know there alot of other usb connectors out there that arent official. for example a nintendo wifi usb connector made from datel works well for the wii and ds and works with other electonics and costs the same price.
the price and all the same actually you can buy one at best buy, futurshop and its about 30-40$ and its called Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector
