Q:I have a muzzle-loader which I loaded new out of the box 2 months ago. I poured in the powder, and then shoved the bullet in. Since then, it has been stored in a garage, and exposed to warm, humid temperatures (about 75-80?) as well as about 20-30?f. I have not primed it yet - but was wondering if its safe to fire after priming. If not, how can I make sure it will fire properly. Is there a way to 'empty' it safely? I would rather not 'fire' out the bad shot, as I am afraid it could blow up in my hand or something. Any advice or suggestions would be greatly apprecaited!!
Funny, Reno....just looking back through the weather stats where I live (southeast US). January, high was 78, low was -7. Feb high was 78, low was 7. Last year, March high was 87, low was 4. April, high of 89, low of 22. May, 93 and 30. Seems his numbers are perfectly believable, bud. Apologies? And yes, it is safe, OF. If you loaded it properly, there's nothing that can be wrong with it that will cause it to be dangerous to fire. It'll either fire or it won't....but it'll not be dangerous to try. My advice, cap it, cock it, aim it, and pull the trigger. If it fires, you can clean it and store it or whatever you had planned. Beats pulling balls if you don't have to.
Q:I know FIE is out of business. I am looking for info on a muzzle loader my grandfather bought new and I now own. It is a .45 cal made in Italy. It has Black POWDER ONlY stamped on it, blued octagon barrel, brass cleaning plate on the right hand side of the stock, curved brass trigger guard. It weighs about 8 pounds. It appears 21282 is the serial # on the barrel. Is this most likely a reproduction of a historical weapon? Is there anywhere you can look up info on older weapons from out of business companies? Thanks a lot to anyone who can help me out with info.

Q:im kinda wanting to get into muzzle loading but i havnt a clue how to load them how do u measure the powder? and ive heard of speed loaders for muzzle loaders how do they work? where can i find them? and whats a good buget muzzle loader? im thinking a used cva or thompson center but does anyone make a afordable wood stocked muzzle loader?
To put it in a simplified nutshell 1. pour the powder from the container into a powder messurer so A. It's safe and the whole pound doesn't blow up in your face B. you know how much powder you have in the gun for velocity, powder, and consistancy. 2. pour the powder down the barrel 3. Put the bullet into the barrel and use a bullet starter to shove it down 4-6 4. Take the ramrod and shove the bullet all the way to the bottom 5. Prime the gun and it's ready to go Quick loads work the same way and can be bought at walmart, bass pro, cabelas, etc but you have to buy the right caliber. Basically instead of grabbing the powder, bullet, and cap from 3 different containers you have a quick load available right in your hand. You basically load it the same way. Be carefull buying used as the prevouis owner may not have cleaned the rifle properly and the gun could be ruined. Cheap synthetic stocks inlines can be bought pretty cheap under 200 and it will shoot the same groups as other expensive rifles. I'd find a breakopen design like a single shot shotgun with a shotgun primer if you're looking for a inline. Something like a traditions persuit or cva optima (beware of cheap guns as they have poor quality control. just look it over before you buy) Traditional guns from lyman, traditions, and cabelas are still available. Traditions brand is still very reasonable but again there are quality control issues. It's best to buy from a store rather than a catalog.
Q:i have a wii thats version is 4.2 and i cant get a usb loader that works for it.
do no longer use WBFS, that's previous and not particularly plenty as sturdy as fat32. proceed to exist fat32 that's the present common in usb loading. basically use WiiBackUp supervisor to bypass your video games on your flash tension.
Q:Anyone know any good muzzle loaders. Looking for something nice, reasonable price and good enough to take out a deer?
I own a cva, its nice, vintage looking, and fun to shoot, albeit time consuming. I dont use it as often as I hoped to. Your standard .50 cal sabot should work fine for deer.
Q:I just bought one of those stackable washers and dryers, an LG. So we set it all up and checked that it is level on all sides but during the spin cycle it vibrates the floor to the point where things fall off the counter... What can be causing this and what can I do to stop it??? (I set the spin cycle on low, and it still vibrates ALOT).
Check the load. When it is shaking badly lift the lid and let it stop rotating. Chances are that the wet cloths are not evenly distributed in the drum. Things like towels and blue jeans are heavy enough to throw the washer around if they are on the same side of the drum. Spread the wet cloths out and close the lid. That will re-start the spin cycle. If you have evened everything out the violent shaking will be gone. It will still vibrate but should not make a noise. I am assuming that all four washer legs are firmly on the ground
Q:I love my washing machine. I only am scared to use my favorite product in the washer because it's not an he detergent. I realize woolite is extra sensitive soap, but still it doesn't say or recommend using in an he washer. I don't want to ruin my hoses. I've heard that if you don't use the he soap you will clog your lines. HELP!!!!!!!
Woolite makes an HE formula for your new machine, so you won't have to go without! They actually make a dark wash too if you're so inclined. The entire cleaning process is turned on its side with a front loader. It requires a lot less water and the cleaning/agitation process (picking up and dropping clothing into the small pool of water) will likely cause too many suds using a regular detergent.
Q:What is the working principle of the loader transmission?
For torque converter manufacturers, the torque is usually supplied by a torque of 1000 rpm to match the engine to the torque converter. The working principle of the torque converter is the torque converter pump wheel is directly connected with the engine oil, stir the variable transmission in the converter according to certain rules, in a fixed wheel torque converter, when the liquid through the guide wheel, through a variety of complex changes, the impact to the turbine output. Drives the turbine to rotate, thus improving the effect of torque, torque in the process of ascension, will reduce the output speed of turbine.
Q:Since my acer timeline doesn't have a cd/dvd drive I extracted opensuse iso and tried to install suse within windows vista but didn't work when i rebooted the laptop. I chose install open suse but it didn't work so I deleted it, but it still appears on windows boot loader!how do I get rid of it, so that vista boots automaticly?
the hard way: learn to use bcdedit on the command line to manually edit the boot table.
Q:Do I need to put my wii games in a folder on my fat32 external hhd for the loader to recognize them?
I'm using USB Loader GX. wbfs folder should be on the root directory and NOT in capital letters. Then you can choose between two different layouts in settings. Layout 1: usb:/wbfs/TITLE[GAMEID]/GAMEID.wbfs Inside wbfs directory add a folder with the game title and then inside [ ] add the id. The wbfs file should be named after its game id. ex : /wbfs/Super Mario Galaxy [8FC124]/8FC124.wbfs Layout 2: usb:/wbfs/GAMEID_TITLE/GAMEID.wbfs Inside wbfs add a folder which starts with the game id then enter _ and then the title As before the wbfs file should be named after its game id. ex : /wbfs/8FC124_SuperMarioGalaxy/8FC124.wbf...
