Q:Hey Yahoo Answers,I just recently bought a home with my wife in San Antonio and we were thinking of either getting hardwood like my old home or ceramic tiles. Does anybody have experience with buying ceramic tiles or know what are the benefits of ceramic tiles? Thanks a lot,Steven
for pcv hose there should be two vacuum hoses connected to the valve covers it connects to one that isnt connected

it could help to suffocate the flames. It cuts off the air it relatively is feeding the fire and can placed the fire out. be useful to no longer fan the blanket. only drop the blanket on and bypass away it. it somewhat is somewhat suited if the guy on fire can roll on the floor. yet whilst they at the instant cannot roll, then patting them with a blanket places out the fire and protects you from catching on fire.
Q:How much money 100 pounds of ceramic jar probably?
That day, watching TV, 100 pounds of vinegar special big pot is 8000Compare it to you
Q:We‘ve got a bunch of figurines here (some are hollow houses, but the rest are completely solid, painted miniatures) and they don‘t have labels describing if they are porcelain or ceramic. We want to list them on eBay, but don‘t know how to describe them. Please tell us how to tell the difference between porcelain and ceramic miniatures. Also, is it okay to wash them? They‘re fairly dirty. Thanks!
I've always thought that porcelain's surface is smoother and ceramic figurines have rough surfaces.
Q:Can pottery pots be heated by ceramic pots?
No way! Because ceramics do not produce electromagnetic induction, they do not generate heat!
Q:I‘m trying to find a really cool color that you can mix--(Under-Glaze) Anyone have any ideas for mixing colors together? Last project--I mixed 2 blues and black magic and it came out great--Anyone have any unique ideas? Thanks :)
turn the dial to the marvelous ideal some circumstances to bathe it. Then supply up on your first decision. Then turn it to the left passing your 2nd decision yet supply up as quickly as you get to it the 2nd time. Then turn it to the marvelous ideal and supply up on the instant on your 0.33 decision. in case you fairly could do it speedy.you'll be able to preset your combination, yet i propose in basic words presetting your first 2 numbers. That way human beings walking interior the approach the halls should not be waiting to open your locker basically via pulling on the lock.
Q:I‘m a senior trying to decide a career choice. I‘m currently in ceramics but this is my first year ever taking it. Would you recommend the career as a ceramics teacher?
In my experience, there are very few jobs for full-time ceramics teachers. Your ceramics teacher might get to teach ceramics and pottery all day, but this is rare. Most art teachers are able to teach a variety of the artistic areas: drawing, painting, ceramics, textiles, etc. Also, the certification (for your teaching license) would probably not be ceramics. It would probably be Art K-12, or secondary art or something like that. You can search your state's department of education web-site, or ask your ceramics teacher what he/she is certified in. I would also suggest taking the college classes to get certified in at least one other core subject (English, social studies, math, science.) Even if you're not tremendously strong in the academics, you would probably feel comfortable teaching middle school in one or more of these subjects. Teachers - especially elective teachers - can gain a measure of job security by being able to teach an academic class when needed. Teaching is a great field, especially if you teach something that you love. I encourage you to investigate this career path. Just make sure you are employable when you leave college! .
Q:I asked about if which one are better ceramic or porcelain. I found some expert cosmetic dentist and he use porcelain but the price is pretty high. I found another dentist and he use all-ceramic and the price is affortable to me.Because I don‘t have much teeth left on my front. I lost alot of teeth in the front and just some left near the back gum line. Some people here said using build-up material will help to support the crown. But do I need an expert and expensive one to do this? Is it a very hard job to do crown? If I don‘t use ask an expert to do this, then it may not last long? Thanks.
I must repeat that porcelain and ceramic are interchangeable terms, like fake and false, flat and level, poultry and fowl. Various brands of all ceramic crowns include Wol-Ceram, Lava, IPS Empress, Cercon, Procera, and Cerec. These are also referred to as all porcelain crowns, because there is no metal substructure. Pretty much all dentists do crowns and love doing them. A general dentist will typically do maybe 200-300 a year. A specialist may do more like 1,000 a year. Unless you have an unusual case, I would speculate that any decent dentist could serve your needs. In 30 years, I have sent fewer than 10 patients to a specialist for complex restorative treatment. In support of that position, I can state that pretty much 99% of all crowns I have done in the course of my practice are still serving the patients, so I think they must have been done correctly. I do not have specialty training. It is a meticulous and demanding procedure, but so is everything else we do all day every day.
Q:hey so I was thinking about starting up ceramic painting as a hobby (pretty sure thats what its called) My grandma did it and she‘s made some really beautiful things that have been around my dad‘s house for as long as I can remember. Anyways what I‘m talking about here is where you buy the plain white piece and then paint it yourself. My only question is what it really would take to start a hobby like this in terms of buying the paints and brushes and anything else you might need. and what are the kinds of paints you should be using and all that. it‘s always interested me and now that I‘m almost done with school i would have time to do it.
the previous answer was from a moron if you are talking about your underground feeds from a disconnect on a pole, you will need to run #2 URD quad for 100 amp service, or 0000 URD quad for a 200 amp service, you must have a ground rod driven in ground by main disconnect on outside pole, and all ground wires must be seperated from neutral wires in panel inside mobile home, direct burial cable must be burried 24 inches deep and sleeved in schedule 80 conduit when exiting the ground and entering the disconnect, if you are running the wire above the ground under the mobile home when it passes the skirting, it needs to be sleeved in either ridged or flexible conduit to prevent damage by rodents. to tell you the truth, if you dont understand what i just wrote, then you shouldnt attempt this yourself, call a professional, its not worth burning your family in their sleep to save a few bucks. REVISED if your calling your RV a mobile home, then you probly need a to bury 10-2 with ground UF and feed it with a single pole thirty amp breaker, and on the pole install a 30 amp 120 volt recepticle with a weatherproof in use cover, thats what most campgrounds use
Q:no im not bad, or planning anything. its my good luck charm my grandpa gave me befor he died so i never took it off.its completly ceramic not metalic at all is it allowed on an airplane? and would it go off in the scanners??
No, a ceramic blade is not allowed on an airplane; as a cutting/slashing weapon, a ceramic blade is just as lethal as a metal blade. Metal detectors are just one layer of security screening; the blade would be found and confiscated, and at the very least you would be detained, questioned, and probably miss your flight.
