FAQ

I hear net-net and triple-net a lot in real estate discussions. What do they mean? Thanks!
It means someone is feeding you a line of bullcrap. Don't listen to any expert in Real Estate. There aren't any. Real estate is common sense. If you don't understand it stay away from it. Someone is pulling your chain. I could show you how to make (not a seller and not interested in your money) how to make INCALCUABLE returns (this doesn't mean big money, it's a silly numbers game all the big shots play). Doesn't mean anything. Real Estate is just like the stock market. If you don't understand that PARTICULIAR area then don't invest. Again, DON'T INVEST because someone is jerking you around. I don't know what discussions you claim (I have never heard of it nor would I believe it). Anyway, you asked. I answered. Plz no best answer. Just another email I will delete without reading.
Have any of you tried the Westaff real estate note home business? If so, what has been your results-successful or not?
A real estate investment note is also known simply as a note, as a cashflow note or as a lien on a property. In simplest terms, a real estate note is given as a promise to pay back borrowed money by a certain time and usually with interest added to the balance. A real estate note is commonly called a promissory note. The holder, or grantor, of a real estate note can receive payments based on the value of the note. The person who pays the note is called the grantee......Real Estate Agent Bendigo
I am 20 years old, instead of attending college straight after high school i decided to work. I've had enough of the Law Firm job (not that I don't like it) I just think its time for me to become something other than a secretary. I've been thinking about Real Estate for awhile but I don't really know much about it..I was wondering if anyone had any insight. I would really appreciate details..and which schools you attending to help me reach my goal as a Real Estate agent. Thank you. It would help if you were from Chicago, Illinois :) Thanks again!
Technically you don't need a college degree to be a real estate agent. Some general business knowledge and an entrepreneurial spirit will get you started. You must take a course with an accredited institution, pass the course, AND pass the state licensing examination to apply to be a licensed real estate agent in your state. Different states have different rules. Look up Illinois Real Estate Courses and Licensing on google, yahoo, etc and see what comes up. I took a real estate course completely online for the state of Virginia and got my license within 6 or 7 months. I'm not doing anything with it yet... but I intend to in the next few years.
What all do you need to do to become a Real Estate appraiser in Pennsylvania? School, experience, licensing, etc?
Run do not stroll from this industry. There is now not any cash to be made headquartered at the time it takes to whole an appraisal. In addition, mentoring is the tremendous trouble. Mentors tackle a enormous accountability. There could be very little cash to be made for the period of coaching. I have expert 3 women and by the point I obtained performed reviewing and explaining I would have performed it myself.
I'm new to all this. How can you make something out of nothing in real estate? I'm looking to buy some investment property within the next year. I have the credit (784 FICO).. but my income is less than 50k a year. What's the best thing for me to do to get started? Any advice would be appreciated.
Get with a Realtor that specializes in foreclosures. Ride around on the weekend and look for abandoned properties. If you can not do home repairs yourself you will have to concentrate on homes that only need cosmetic repair. If you can make repairs like plumbing, electrica, drywall etc you can go after distressed properties that you should be able to get at prices below market value.
What place in California is the best for real-estate if your a real-estate agent?
I okorder Good luck.
Do I need to graduate high school to be eligible for a license and career in the Real Estate Industry? I am almost 17, in 10th grade and school is extremely difficult for me. I am pretty sure I won't be able to graduate do to how demanding and hard the work is. I was hoping to be an agent seeing as it's just the perfect job for me and my personalty. I am also interested in design. The only problem is, I know I'm smart and I have great business skills/techniques. It's just the things they require us to learn these days is so unnecessary I don't see the point. So anyways, I live in Seattle Washington, if that matters, and was curious to see if maybe I have the slightest chance of being successful one day.
I'm from Illinois and I am in Real estate school now. The requirements were high school diploma or ged and have to be 21. But some states are different.
I know nothing about real estate taxes. My husband and I are interested in "flipping" a house. We are trying to figure out if it's worth it after capital gains tax. For example; how much in taxes would we pay if we purchased a house for $100k and sold it for $130k. We make about 100 grand a year combined from our jobs. Thank you
I would need to write a book. Spend the next six months educating yourselves and then think about this plan again.
