I just painted my sons room green (hanging vine by valspar). It is a medium green with blueish undertones. I planned on having lighter green curtains but with blueish tones it looks funny. I am going for a jungle theme. His bed is brown and various tans. What color would you suggest? Print or Pattern?

Do you HAVE to have curtains?? How about natural bamboo blinds instead?? The room will look larger without a drapery, & the natural element looks great with a jungle theme.

Im wanting to paint my boyfriends kitchen red. He has a black table and black appliances. The kitchen connnects to the grey living room. I was thinking about black curtains but I dont want the room to feel small and dark. Suggestions?

Hi i think the lime green carpet sounds fun and unique but there aren't really allot of colors to go with it..hm maybe u could go with a nice light brown or tan or even something more bold like a purple would contrast very nicely with it, i would also suggest maybe just painting the walls white and ur comforter could be the thing that pulls it all together, get one with lime green, white, maybe orange or blue or a lighter green, and believe it or not even black Accessories would really make the room pop, perhaps painting the furniture black to contrast with the white and green! there's allot you can do with that and i hope i've helped! check out the link i sent u there's a picture and it uses lime green, black and white to create something amazing, i hope it shows how all the colors come together so nicely.

I want curtains, but I dont want a curtain on each side. The wall is about 2 and a half feet between both windows.How can I decorate so that the look is effective as a focusing on the windows and hiding the wall?I was thinking of putting say bronze curtains on the outer ends with them held back against the edge of the wall. Then sheers then the bronze again to hide the inside wall and then sheers and bronze on the outside.So in total I would have 5 panels. LOL! Hope that makes sense.How should I decorate it? Yes, that makes perfect sense. Hiding the wall with the solid bronze in the middle and on each end of the 2 sheers will make your windows appear larger. A nice substantial rod and finials and you are all set! Good luck!
