i'm making a science fair project and its on Ferrofluid (or a liquid like magnet) and i'm trying to create a generator by placing the liquid in plastic tubing. but the problem (obviously) is that is i don't seal the two open ends of the tube the liquid will drain out. what can i use to block the tubing?Oh almost forgot, my substance is a magnet so it can't be any material that can possibly conduct electricity.

i would probobly go with maybe a silicone based adhesive, caulking maybe? like what you use around bathtubs n such. it sets fairly quick, adheres to most materials and is waterproof. hope this helps.

why does water bend when put in a plastic tube?

I went on vacation a year ago for two weeks and came home to a refrigerator that no longer has a working water spout. The ice machine still works and the the motor comes on when I place a glass under the water spout bit no water comes out? I do have hard water. Could it be blocked from calcification?
