What are the materials?
Our rattan furniture is woven by hand with environment-friendly PE rattan on strong powder-coated metal or aluminum structure with soft cushions and pillows. The cushions are usually replaceable and washable.
1) PE Rattan/PVC Rattan/Poly Rattan/Synthetic Rattan: durable and UV and weather resistant
-- Round Rattan is usually more durable than flat rattan and more expensive.
-- Plenty of rattan colors are available for selection and the well-received colors are listed as follows: Changing Brown, Charcoal, Dark Brown, Cream, Beige, Grey, White, etc.
-- Rattan Size: Our common round rattan diameter: 2.4mm, 2.5mm, 2.9mm, 3mm, 3.3mm, etc. Our common flat rattan width: 6, 8, 10, 12 mm, etc.
2) Structure/Framework: Top Graded and powder-coated
--Strong metal structure is adopted if not asked. Aluminum structure can also be made at a higher cost. Aluminum structure is lighter in weight.
3) Cushions and pillows: water-proof and with zipper, replaceable and washable

- You can get rid of the smell of cigarette smoke with White Vinegar. Vinegar destroys cigarette smell on a molecular level. It doesn't just cover it up, like air fresheners do. It destroys it. Pour undiluted White Vinegar into a spritzer bottle and spray the sofa with this. You might have to repeat the spraying a few times to completely eliminate the smell. Yes, vinegar stinks, too, but unlike cigarette smell, it dissipates within hours. And once it does, the cigarette smell will be gone, too. -
- Q:I have this great old 1920s Empire Sofa (curled arms, navy velour, brass claw feet, uber comfortable)But the problem is that it is sagging. I felt underneath the couch and I feel wire or springs or something like that. I have a friend who can reupholster, but I wonder about the springs or whatever on the bottom. How do I fix that so it wont sag?
- For a temp fix, get a long strip of durable wood or MDF and put it under the cushions. Just make sure you measure before you go to the hardware store so they can cut it to size for you.

- Siamese are dumb. Trust me, mine will 6 years old, and if he still had claws, the couch would be in ribbons by now. Squirt bottles will only work if your cat hates water. Carpet tape is good training, but depends on the kind of material the furniture is. They make a kind of spray to keep pets away from places you don't want then to be. I never had anything for my cats to sctatch on, but the cardboard kind might do the trick. I had a friend who has a hymalayian (part persian, part siamese) and that cat loves cardboard!

- get a new boyfriend=] just kidding. but get a new couch. tell your parents you wont let ur dog destroy anything again. but seriosly if u don't wana loose your dog learn how to train it. it shuldnt be kept in just ur room anyway. you can find tons of books or websites on how to train a dog. there are even articles on how to train specific breeds.

If I work overseas as an AAFES employee in Japan will i get SOFA status? If i have SOFA I would be able to drive and so one without a VISA? is that correct? And where would i go if i got sick since i'm not a spouse or a dependent? Any past overseas DOD or AAFES employees have any good answers?
- Why do you NEED to get to Japan? Getting a job with AAFES from the US will be nearly impossible unless you are seeking an upper management position. Also, the SOFA we have with Japan heavily favors locals (Japanese) in the hiring for AAFES. Finally, the salary you get paid by AAFES for the other positions that may be available to you won't pay enough for you to live in Japan on. You would be better off trying to get a contract position (no guarantee of full SOFA benefits) or get a civil service job with a government agency. As for nursing, it is a very underpaid job in Japan...not the respect it gets in the US. In fact, there is a shortage and they have been importing Filipinos to fill the void and they pay them even less than they do Japanese. Nursing is not a good career path for a foreigner in Japan.
