Q:I want to make a rechargable battery pack for my old nintendo ds (NOT lite). I found online that the DS takes 5.2 volts at 450 mAh (the 5.2V part is also on the back of the DS). If I were to wire 4 rechargable NiMH or NiCd (1.2V) in series and hook it up to the DS, would it work? I'm pretty sure that wiring them in series adds up the voltage to 4.8 volts, just under the 5.2 mark. Would it be acceptable to go slightly over? For example, could I put 4 regular alkaline batteries (1.5V) together to make a 6 volt pack?: I really dont think that making your own is a very good idea. Last time i tried it with my PSP, it broke and i was not able to get it repaired. They sad that it was because of a short surquit that the battery caused but i did not tell them that i had trried to make my own, anyways, if i were you i would just go buy a new battery pack. Check e bay or something, it cant be too expensive, what happened to your old battery pack?

Q:I am looking for a glossy gold rechargeable battery pack for my xbox 360 controller. I am buying a whole set up for my controller that's gold and glossy and chrome and stuff.: that's going to be supper hard to find i recommend just buying the double a batteries that they sell in the store

It can cause damage to the car. It can also cause an explosion which can be deadly. If you have another battery pack try connecting that one for a safer result.

The controllers and the battery pack will indeed work. They are different colors purely for cosmetic reasons, so go ahead and buy your new controller.

Q:Can I convert a 11.1V 2200mAh 25C Li-Poly Battery Pack Deans with Deans Female to Small Tamiya Female to work with a stock M249 or with this burnout my motor?: You can build an adapter for practically anything. Whether the motor burns out depends on the battery you use, not the connector. They are two separate issues. If the motor is going to be burned out by the 11.1V 2200mAh 25C Li-Poly Battery Pack, then it will get burned out whether you use Deans or Tamiya connector. Having said that, the question is whether the Tamiya will be able to handle the current that the motor draws (without heating up and melting. That depends on a lot of factors, such as how much current the motor will draw, what kind of wires you are using, what kind of gears you are using, etc. Sometimes, that just requires trial and error.

Q:I have a lipo rc helicopter that runs off of a lipo 2 cell 7.4 volt battery i was wondering, since the battery overheated and is no use anymore, can i run the helitcopter off of a usb battery pack? with the equivelant of 6/7 volts?: Most likely no, due to insufficient capacity. What caused it to overheat? Using the wrong charger, or an electrical fault.

Q:I just bought a blue wireless controller for the XB 360, and my battery pack (white) will not work with it. It isn't necessary to have the matching battery pack for the controller to work, correct? Or am I wrong?: Well my bfs tried to use his elite controller with the white battery pack from his previous controller and doesnt work properly. The battery will all of a sudden die and wont turn on so he uses batteries. We exchanged the controller for another elite one and same thing happens. We tried switching it with the battery pack from my white controller and same thing happens. Its so lame.
