Our rattan furniture is woven by hand with environment-friendly PE rattan on strong powder-coated metal or aluminum structure with soft cushions and pillows. The cushions are usually replaceable and washable.

- Q:I'm moving cross country and have a very limited decorating budget. I wanted to buy an Ikea sofa but I know how uncomfortable they are. I have an idea to create a sectional sofa/daybed by using two twin bed sets minus the frames and placing them in an L-shape with lots of pillows on top. I have my eye on two Wolf Slumber Express mattresses from Walmart that reviewers say are extremely firm. I'm thinking of just placing two twin mattresses on top of each other, thereby getting some sinking action like on a real sofa instead of putting them on a wooden foundation by themselves. - Your better off using the foundation underneath, which is specifically designed to supply the mattress with support. Keep in mind that mattresses and sofa's are designed for their intended purpose, so substituting one for the other isn't likely to be effective long-term. Mattresses are designed to absorb the weight of the individual spread over the entire surface area of the mattress, placing your entire weight on a few springs will result in them breaking down quickly. Using a second mattress will only expedite the wear and tear even more.

The sofa has the color of mocha, and the loveseat is chocolate brown. Is that a good combination? The living room's carpet is beige and the walls are white.
- I think that sounds fine together. You need to add a pop of color to your brown and beige and white room, though. Paint if you can. Add accent pillows of any bright color you like: teal, orange, reds, etc. I like teals best with your colors.

- Caution: If your cotton fabric is Haitian cotton, do not use water or any water-based cleaner. It would cause a permanent stain. (I speak from sad experience. Too late I read the care tag!)

- Yep - I had a Flexsteel sofa from the 70's. I just got rid of it about 4 years ago - not because it went to hell, but the color was just so out of style and I couldn't stand looking at it anymore! (gold and green) Flexsteel is not the top of the line, but I have to admit - It went through 2 kids and 6 pets and it lasted.

- I'd definatley go with the sectional. Your family will grow up and this piece works well in a lot of rooms.

- I have a microfiber couch and it's OK. I would rather have leather or something like courdoroy but I like that I can wipe it with a damp cloth and any smudge that I got on it wipes off.
