- What do you mean you can't find the theme? It's about a kid whose dad sells things, and the way he gets those things is by stealing them. SO he sells a sofa, puts his kid inside the sofa, the people put it in their house, the kid gets out of the sofa, and takes valuable items with him on his way out the house. In this instance, the kid gets caught. It's a 1st person narrative told by the kid who is in the sofa ready to pop out and steal things from the buyer's house. Got it?
- Q:My wife and I are thinking about purchasing some new sofas. La-Z-Boy is always a brand I've heard good things about, but mostly their reclining chairs. We want a stationary sofa. Do they have good quality? We want something that will (hopefully) last approximatly 10+ years. Our current sofas from Rooms to Go only last about a year (side note-NEVER buy Rooms to Go!). - I worked for La-Z-Boy for 7 years. I was a salesperson, then visual mgr, then accessory mgr, then buyer, then designer, then asst mgr, then store mgr, then back to designer (my passion education). I own ALL La-Z-Boy furniture, purchased almost 10 years ago. I'd been in the furniture design biz for 20 years before I bought furniture, cause nowhere I'd worked - all high end, mind you - was the quality that I thought was worth the price, even at my employee discount. I am STILL impressed with La-Z-Boy furniture. I have a stationery sofa, the Avery armless chair, the Riley reclining chair in leather. I also have all my occasional tables from Hammary, which is a casegoods company LZB owns carries in their stores. I would still work for LZB if they had a store in the city I moved to. If you are going to spend $1000 on a sofa at LZB, you're getting a great sofa. Like any furniture line, they have a good, better, best quality level. The good quality is at he $599-699 price point, is the promotional line. GOOD will get you 3-5 years. BETTER is the $700-$899 price point. They will get you 6-8 years. The BEST is $900 over will get you 9 to 20 years, depending on the level of use other factors (leather will last 4x's longer, for instance). I highly recommend LZB. You will have to pay for delivery probably, it's worth every penny. Also, buy the accident protection plan...also worth every penny. Take good care of your furniture by vacumming it reguarly rotating the cushions reguarly. Maintenance is very important in extending the life of your furniture - (but, as you experienced, there's little hope for longevity of Rooms To Go furniture)
- Q:I have a small studio apartment and I'd like to paint an accent wall. But I want it to compliment my red sofa.
- I would try a dynamic pattern. Maybe going with a diagonal striped blue/gold sequence. Maybe 18 inch stripes or narrower blue stripes to go with the curtains. Concentrate on matching the curtians to the wall colors. The Espresso is a good choice for most colors. If you want it lighter ... go with more gold color and thinner blue stripes. It's easy using painters tape. If you plan to sell go with a more neutral color that isn't so dramatic.

- It could be an anxiety issue, I did the same when I was younger - I liked it because I could hear everything, see everyone who got up in the morning and I was closer to where family time was. In my bedroom, I felt alone and secluded from everyone. Also, I liked the couch too for spacial issues - the living room was always a better temperature than my bedroom so I found myself gravitating towards the couch on some nights. I still sleep on the couch the odd time, and watch old movies.

- Oy...lthe okorder / . Other products could cover the smell, but if you want to truly destroy it, use this product. Seriously. And for the price, you will have some left in case a pet has an accident at a later time. If you have pets, it will be imperative to get the urine smell out, or you may find them marking on the sofa too. Good luck!
- Q:I dog-sat a friend's dog for three days and while the old girl was asleep on my sofa, her bladder released her urine onto one of my sofa cushions. My hound dog used to sleep on that sofa all the time, now she won't go anywhere near the sofa and I've tried all of the dog cleaners and all of the deodorizers! Does anyone have a homemade remedy?
