- Q:I have a 2001 Ford Mustang Gt, the brake lights are out, including the third brake light. I looked at the fuses (fuse 4133), they are fine and not broke, I then heard it could be the brake light switch do I replaced that as well. I had my girlfriend hit the brakes while in park and they worked! Then she hit the brakes again and they didn't work :(.. I checked then bought a continuity tester and and the light on the tester lit up on fuse 41 and that fuse 33 did not light up. I replaced fuse 33 with another 15 a fuse and it still does not light up when i test it so it seems that there is no power. Does anyone have any ideas as to why only that one fuse (33) does not work and how I can fix it so I can get my brake lights working again? Thanks
- The fuse is not an issue unless ALL of your exterior lights and even your dash lights are bye-bye. They share the same fuse, I believe. Tail lights and interior dash lights come on when you turn the parking lights on, so that makes sense.

- If light was actually more powerful than dark then the majority of the world would be selfless and free of sins, when in fact it is the opposite. When a really exciting and happy event happens you appreciate it for a (usually short) period of time, but when a tragedy occurs it can take years to get over. Some people never get over scarring events their entire lives. Also notice how no matter how great an event is, if something goes wrong it's easy for it to be completely ruined. But when a horrible event happens and then one thing goes right nobody cares. The way I see it, the darkness is more powerful BUT people themselves can overpower it by remembering the light and having faith in it. So in other words it's all about perspective.

- First, check your lighting fuses/relays (look in owner manual) Second, check the spoiler light bulb Third, check your wire connection around spoiler / light. Hope that helps...

- Q:i have a 1994 c15oo chevrolet. have replaced brake and signal lights now light flash fast and when brake pedal id pressed tail light goes out and reverse light light up.. circuit board has been replaced wiring looks good... the reverse lights also light up and flash with signal but this only happens when running lights are on.. with lights off everything works normaly...
- Sounds like you have some wires crossed... Brake and turn signals flash fast because they are over loaded, causing the flasher to work faster. Brake lights are not part of tail light circuit. So they should not affect the tail lights. Maybe you have a bulb in crooked, and causing the lights to work that way. Two way bulbs, have one filament for brake lights (larger filament) and one filament for tail light. Both on same bulb...If the bulb is crooked, it might cause cross wiring on both circuits. Reverse light is totally not included with either of these circuits...so there must be a shorted wire somewhere. If you have separate bulb for Taillight....for brake light...and for turn signal, you could hav put the brake light bulb into the turn signal socket, having it come on when you press the brake. But that does not explain why tail light goes out when brake is pressed. Such a mess. I think I would take the truck to a auto electrician and have him check it out. Wires are crossed somewhere. I don't know if the 94 Chevy has separate lights ( one for each function) or a two filament bulb for brake and tail lite, and a single filament bulb for backup. Normally, the brake and turn signals are on one filament of a two filament bulb, the tail light on the other filament, and the reverse back up light, is on a bulb by itself. Three separate lines.
