What are the materials?
Our rattan furniture is woven by hand with environment-friendly PE rattan on strong powder-coated metal or aluminum structure with soft cushions and pillows. The cushions are usually replaceable and washable.
1)PE Rattan/PVC Rattan/Poly Rattan/Synthetic Rattan: durable and UV and weather resistant

- Q:A friend has offered me a sofa - can't take it with her on a move. It is only a year old and very nice. BUT, she has 6 dogs. And all the problems that come with that. - Well, there are many ways to clean it, but I don't know if there is a good fix for this. You can clean it with a leather cleaner and then set a bomb inside/under it for the fleas/mites/ticks, but I don't know about any smells that might remain after that. It's a start though.
- Q:How do you keep it clean and is it necessary to use leather conditioner all the time?
- We have a black leather sofa and love seat and love it. If you have kids and/or pets it is the most durable thing you can buy. Also, you are better off buying a less expensive grade of leather as it is a little thicker and less prone to any punctures or scratches than the more expensive, thinner and softer grades. We use leather conditioner about twice a year (more often if we think about it or have time). The rest of the time you can just wipe any spills with damp cloth.
- Q:Also for a rocker recliner (chair), is there usually a lock mechanism to stop the rocking?
- I saw a sofa that reclined in all three positions advertised at Finger Furniture a few years back but not lately. As for the rocker chair, it won't rock when reclined.

- The only really important factor is whether or not you can feel the metal bars when you lay down on the bed.

- Your best bet would be to check your local stores. Look for 'specials' and 'going-out-of-business' sales for the best deals. There are stores online that sell sofa beds, but when you calculate the shipping costs, the price becomes exorbitant. Good luck. If you live near a JC Penney's, their prices and quality are good. They also have great customer service.

No other colors are available and I really love this sofa.The sofa is khaki and carpet is beige. Walls are white and can't be painted and my furniture is dark wood.Any ideas on how to make this work and what colors might work for throw pillows and curtains? - put a throw blanket on the sofa ... any pop of color will do maybe an interesting print (if there are no prints on the sofa or floor. Design usually works in a three base color ... since you have beige (nuetral) anything goes that you like. With the dark wood I'd go with a dark color perhaps a deep brown or maybe a black and then an accent of green for subtle or maybe a warm sort of red/brick color. If you have table or shelves ... use the color in objects there too ... a vase or bowl, book ends ... or a picture .... this pulls the color around the room.
