Q:Mainly, what are the ingredients in the ones that don‘t contain alcohols?
There are lubricity additives to help the fuel flow. Also Cetane enhancers, similar to octane boosters in gasoline. Also detergents, again like gasoline, to keep injectors clean.
Q:There was that big push years ago with those engine treatments like Slick 50, I‘m sure you remember them. Have those gone away? Currently I see some oil treatment additives that you add to the crankcase and it‘s supposed to condition the oil (somehow?) but it‘s already multi weight, so why would you condition the oil?
I would only buy a heavy oil treatment like Lucas if I hear a tapping, hoping that it will quiet it down or at least give it a little protection.
Q:-5/10, 13/6, -4/1Please Explain how to give these fractions a multiplicative and additive inverse! Help!
multiplicative inverse is the same as reciprocal. It is what you multiply the fraction by to get 1. -5/10 ---- -10/5 13/6 ---- 6/13 -4/1 ---- -1/4 additive inverse is what you add to get 0, so basically it is just the opposite sign: -5/10 ---- +5/10 13/6 ---- -13/6 -4/1 ---- +4/1 that's it! ;)
Q:If you can give me a link to a resource where I can watch the Documentary or even just a title. A documentary made by the major organizations (e.g. Discovery and National Geographic) would be highly appreciated.Anything about food additives. MSG, food coloring, preservatives taste enhancers etc.
The only thing (besides SuperSize Me) that comes to mind is a series on PBS called Harvest of Fear. They touched on food additives but it was mostly focused on genetically modified foods/cross-engineering crops foods.
Q:i want roll your own tobacco that has no chemicals added anyone know of a ‘natural‘ brand?
You can buy prepackaged Natural American Spirit cigarettes in a lot of gas stations. They have the picture of the indian on the front. There is NO additives, because nicotine is found naturally in the plant, hence, it's not an additive. Also in smoke shops they sell the roll-your-own version of Natural American Spirit, if you feel like rolling your own cigs. The only other 100% natural, no additive free cigarettes that I've seen are Nat Sherman Naturals, and I've only seen these at Smoker Friendly and some random cigar shops.
Q:true or false
True Olestra is a fat additive and sucralose is an artificial sugar additive
Q:Does anyone know a site that can tell me what allergies each additive causes???
Here is a couple of great websites: www.eatwell .uk/healthissues/f. www.migraine-facts .uk/html/cau.
Q:I know that there are not viscosity modifier additives, but are there usually other additives like dispersants and such? Or are those, along with viscosity modifiers, only in multi-grade oils?
if you want a good cheap oil use shell rotella 5w40. do not use a 0w weight oil. thicker better. 5w40 is usually not too thick of an oil, but do not use thicker then this.
Q:I have a 4 cylindar Honda Accord. Do I need STP, etc?
i have found that lucas oil makes a fuel additive that works pretty well its called tune up in a bottle, again made by lucas oil i put one in about once a month and it seems to help out a bit.also theres some stuff you put in your oil i think its called compression restorer its in a blue and silver can.that stuff works good too im not convinced about any of the other crap they sell
Q:What kind of additives to do with tofu?
Under normal circumstances tofu to use two kinds of additives. Ie gypsum and brine. It is generally thought that brine is delicious
