- Q:buying my first skateboard.
- the bearings are what make the wheels move on the trucks and it holds the wheels to the trucks .. its the thing inside the wheels and it can be any color like mine are red

- Natural degreaser:- (Theory, Like dissolves Like) * Rub Orange Oil or Eucalyptus Oil onto bearings soak in hot water for approx. 1/2 hr. * Wash with Dawn dish washing liquid, * Rinse well with hot water. * Then re grease bearings. Good Luck!!

- You dont need new wheels and bearings, because you wont know what the difference between them even is. Ride what you have until you know why you need a new part. If you do not know why you are getting it, then you dont need it. If you are to get new bearings, NEVER spend extra on expensive bearings! $10 or $15 would be the most I would ever buy. One you know that cheap bearings from good brands are better than those expensive Bones bearings, then you will never buy expensive ones again. If you need new bearings get Magic, MileHighSkate, or DBS bearings for $9. They are double sealed, and work great. All bearings will spin the same as long as they are cleaned and lubed when needed. Never use WD-40 as a lube! If you ever want need wheels, look at brands such as Abec11, Nersh, Cult, Metro, Sector 9 Race Formula, Seismic, Earthwing, Venom, Gravity, and Landyachtz.

- If you see they stop after 2sec then your bearings needs to be changed as soon as possible but if they are slower you should clean them up with gasoline or lubricant I think that good skate board bearings will last maybe 8 or 9 month if you take care of them properly means cleaning them at least every two weeks.
- Q:I recently had a repair done to my vehicle, and on the bill,they noted wheel bearings make noise. I went back in to ask the mechanic, and he stated to me that if I drive down the road I hear a roaring noise, and those are my wheel bearings. I asked him if this is something I should get taken care of right away, and he stated, no, not until it is very loud, so loud that you cannot drown the noise out with the car radio. - If okorder . I'm sorry you encountered such a lame mechanic as wheel bearing noise is a great indicator the right, left or both should be throughly inspected and serviced. Im sure you don't want the dirty son of a gun to seize of fall off the car while you're driving.
