The outer ring has thin wall.The drawn cup needle roller bearing has the characterstics of small radial section area, large load carring capacity ,less inertia and economic manufacture. - Q:Okay, I have a 99 olds intrigue 3.8 with 100k miles. Recently, I started noticing a clicking noise when turning right. I replaced both CV axles, and it did not go away. This noise ONLY happens when the car is on the ground. it happens in neutral or drive, braking or no braking, and only happens when I trun right. Now, recently I noticed the car makes a horrible grinding noise when the wheel is LOCKED to the left under acceleration. (like making a U-turn). Could both noises be caused by a bad wheel bearing? or bearings?

- is almost the same, the only diff is how the wheel is opened up,,, i believe they seal the bearings so you will haft to press them out i think,, if not then then its the same,,, ive only came across 2 types of 4wheelers that had to do that,, they were polarius models that floated on the water,,, now lookin at yours its the same as a car,,, after removing the wheel you take off the spindle ( for a car its called a rotor) then pick out the bearing clean out the grease add new grease, and pack the bearings with grease befor you put it in,, the more grease the better lol

- Bearings are the same unless you have 10mm axles. You would know this when you get the trucks. They use a different bearing, but the wheels are the same. Skateboard parts are standardized.
- Q:My 2000 4x4 Lifted Ford Excursion has a clicking noise when I am driving, on the front driver side. I can take my foot off the gas an it is still there no matter the speed. - Bad cv boot if you hear clicking .The cv joint is round and rotates around a smooth surface.clicking is the cv 100% sure small pieces will start and has started to break off not safe to drive get fixed asap.When hum bearing going out you will hear like a rubbing noise not clicking.email me if you need more.
- Q:I refer to the overhung impeller pump. They normally have two bearings supporting the shaft, (and an oil box between the bearings). Why is that? why not only one bearing? what would happen if they are manufactured with one bearing only?
- You could do that but you would have to rely on the bearings of the driver to help support the load. You would also have to be sure one of the two bearings could take an axial thrust load. As you may know there are vertical inline pumps that do just that.

- if this is a family heirloom take it to a tool repair shop and get a bid, or take the bearing out and take it to a bearing shop for a price check.
