Drawn Cup Needle Roller Bearing :
The outer ring of drawn cup needle roller bearing is punched with the high-quality steel sheet. The outer ring has thin wall. The drawn cup needle roller bearing has the characterstics of small radial section area, large load carring capacity ,less inertia and economic manufacture. It is suitable for small section heght, or when the housing bore isnot used for raceway , this type is recommended to use .The bearing is assembled into the housing bore under a certain pressure without fu rther axial location.
The draw up needle roller bearing generally takes its shaft diameter as the internal raceway .However , the proper LR type inner ring can be used in accordance with application condition.
The draw up needle roller bearing has two structures-with retainer and with full of needles. They are are divided intoopenend type and close-end type. The structure with retainer has the single seal ring and double seal ring .The structure with full of needles has a large load carrying capacity.
Application Area:
Needle roller bearings are mainly used in car engines, transmissions, compressors, cranes, etc.

- Q:I took my Expedition to the dealer to check he alignment..... they told me they could not do that because the wheel bearings (all four) needed to be replaced. I took it to two other mechanics.... they said maybe only two needed to be replaced. I didn't ask these other mechanics about the alignment.
- The wheel bearings need to be replaced, and then your car will need an alignment. My wheel bearings caused my alignment to be off, and caused excessive wear on my tires and my steering wheel starting to shake. If you're noticing excessive wear or bald patches on your tires, RUN to the dealership to get your wheel bearings repaired. It will cost you so much more to not get it done, and you won't feel safe until it's done.
- Q:I have been cleaning my bearing about every two weeks. I have been using plain tap water, and a Q-tip. How often do you clean yours, and what do you use?
- Longboarders need to keep their bearings in EXCELLENT condition, and this is primarily a longboarding sight. Check it out.
- Q:i saw some that said speed demons, abec 7 and some that just said ABEC 7 which ones are faster?
- Long board wheels are larger and wider than skateboard wheels. And because of it, longboards are faster for travelling compared to skateboards and it can even roll to rougher terrain. i haven't tried to put longboard wheels on my skateboard so i guess you had to try to put the longboard wheels on your skateboard and see if the wheels won't touch the board when you ride it. Else, you had to replace your skateboard wheels or use your longboard.
- Q:How much speed can the needle bearing of inner bore 17mm bear?
- This depends on the lubrication, lubricating oil viscosity, pressure is different, allowing the speed is also different
- Q:Well, I was wondering: do all skateboard bearings have 2 sides? I looked at abec 7 or 8 bearings and they do not seem to have 2 sides? How do I know which side should i grease? Also, does abec bearings have a metal/rubber covering on one side? Thanks, if you can answer all these questions, i will give you best answer. Don't say, Get bone swiss bearings! They're better! I know they are, but I'm asking about abec 7 bearings. Thanks.
- By sides, I assume that you mean the shields that are there to block dirt from getting in. Only one shield is needed. Some makers include both and some only one. (This applies to ABEC 7 or any other bearing) The one on the wheel side is not needed since no dirt can get in there except through the other side. You don't grease the shields. There is only one set of balls in the bearing and greasing from either side will do the same thing. ABEC ratings are meaningless for skate boards or inline skates. The ratings are for vibration and accuracy in high speed industrial machines. You can get ABEC 7 bearings that are garbage or non-rated (Bones, TwinCam, and ZeroDrag all make non-ABEC bearings as their top models) bearings that are extremely good.
- Q:I need to get my honda aquatrax trailer's bearings greased up and I'm no handy man. I don't know if the PWC (jet ski) dealer (also a motorcycle dealer) would be willing to do it or if i have to go to a car mechanic.
- your marine service shop should be up to the task of maintaining your marine trailer too. if they arent, you shouldnt be going to that shop to begin with. any normal car mechanic should be able to handle it too. its actually a very easy job, if you dont mind getting grease on your hands. wheel bearings are wheel bearins are wheel bearings..... and there are also places that deal more specifically with trailers. they would be able to handle your marine trailer maintence too. i would suggest you add a set of bearing buddy caps to your shopping list for parts. they have a fitting on them that allows you to pump grease into them without popping them off. and a spring that forces the grease through the bearings and out the wheel seal (if over pumped you will ruin the wheel seal). just pull off a little plastic cap, check that the spring is half compressed and you will have no bearing worries ever again. if the spring is ever getting relaxed, pull out the grease gun and give it a few pumps. bearing buddy caps claim to be a final solution to keeping the bearings full of grease and working properly. IF used properly and kept full, that claim is true.
- Q:I have a 96 ford ranger with manual lockouts ive seen people say u need whole assembly for 2000 and up but when I look for it I can find any that will fit mine
- The 96' has regular taper bearings but it matters when getting the bearing you have to specify if your Ranger has the Dana35 or the Dana28 axle. NOTE: The 00' Ranger does have the Hub assembly style bearings.
- Q:2004 Ford Taurus DISC BRAKES has anyone replaced the REAR bearings?
- You should be able to tap the bearings out with a hammer and drift. If you use a brass drift it will be less likely to scratch the housings. You use a large socket to install the new bearings. Grease the bearing liberally first. The socket should bear only on the outer race and you carefully tap it into place. The new bearing may have a relieved edge to facilitate entry and the usual rule is that the writing on the bearing is the edge that faces you. If they are taper bearings you tighten them to hand tight then back off a quarter turn to obtain working clearance. This clearance disappears when the bearing gets hot in use. It would be advisable to buy the Haynes manual for the car as this will guide you through the whole procedure step by step.
- Q:I have been checking with at least 3 different mechanic about ongoing problem in my Buick park avenue 2003.only one told me that I need to replace both front bearings and also asking me to replace tires(which I did and problem still exists) also right front tie rod..none of these other mechanic are sure what is the problem..Problem is this...Car seems pulling(no break problem) and wheels wobbling..making wide turns..what is could be?looks like all these mechanic don't want to deal with to fix my bearings..what you say?
- You might have a bent rim/s, if you took a real hard curb shot some time this can happen. If you have bad bearings there will be a lot of shaking of the steering wheel at most speeds. Bent suspension members do not result in wheel wobble, of course a bent axle will. But bending the axle stub is a difficult thing to do. The wheel will bend first.
- Q:I soaked them in alchohol overnight and then dried them out for 30 minutes and i blew on them and stuff. then i applied 3 drops of lubricant to each bearing with bones speed cream. i also removed the bearing spacers. they seem slower, maybe by 20 seconds when i spin them. i havent skated them yet since i cleaned them. possibly i should put back the spacers? i have bones spf wheels with bones super swiss 6 bearings.
- It might seem that way but the bearings are gonna be fast.. You should ride the board to test the bearings .. Spining them helps a little but when you ride them your weight is on they will give you a better feel of how they perform.. They probably faster than what you think .. yeah just go ahead put the spacers back.. It will protect the bearings trucks.. Do to the friction they might share here there.. You have like the best wheels bearings outhere.. Bones is the best when it comes down to wheels bearings.. Lucky dude.
