- Oh Gawd, come and take my boyfriend's away!! When I met him, everything this man owned was dark green. His car, his sofa, his towels, his shower curtain, his throw rugs, his kitchen pot holders, his table cloth, his comforter!! I am slowly getting rid of all the green, but the sofa still stands. I must say it is durable and oh so comfortable, though. Try Raymore and Flanagan's, Bob's Furniture or Puritan Furniture. If these stores are in your area, I would try there first. You could probably get one at Ethan Allen if you leave them with your first born child (expensive furniture). The good thing about dark green is that you can decorate circles around dark green as it matches just about any other color.

- Q:Hi I was giving a beautiful sofa today and was gonna use it in the only space available which is an empty upstairs bedroom the only problem is it wont fit threw the hallway vertically and theirs a wall in the way of the door entranceso the only option i have is to try to get it threw the window in the room which both panes open inward so theirs more than enough space, the problem is how would i go about doing this?i'm thinking there is more than enough space to put a few ladders to the window with rope on the top tied down so it doesnt slip back wrapping the sofa in pad liners tieing rope around it and halling it upIs there an easier way to do this task without hiring someone to do it for me for $300? thanksbtw its on the backyard side of the house so i cant hire someone with a crane
- the safest way is to ask a professional. Explain first and if you can show a picture(s) of the side of the house and the yard. I do not think there is an easy way out of this. There are small cranes that totally collapse. Examine the sofa for removable parts. legs, ends, back careful not to damage it. You might call or visit the store where it was purchased and ask for advice. good luck. the traditional way to lift a piano to a second story is to mount a block and tackle on the roof (if the roof is flat)
- Q:Anyone who can help me with this problem! My cat just insisted on peeing on the sofa. It is driving my husband and me insane. - Pet stores have cat and dog spray repellent. I bought some once and it worked pretty good. Clean up the sofa, spray it with something like Oust or Odor Out (cheaper), then put the cat repellent on it. I keep blankets on my sofas so they don't get dusty and dirty when it's just us. I take the blankets off if we are having company. If it's a unneutered male, have it neutered. I have 1 neutered male that does not spray and 1 that still does. If it's a female, then she thinks she is dominant over you and will probably repeat the behavior. Make sure there are enough clean litter boxes available. Since I have 5 cats that come indoors, I have 3 litter boxes at various locations. 2 of my cats don't come in at all because they have obnoxious toilet habits.
