Borosilicate Heat-resistant glass3.3(BG3.3)
Product Introduction
Borosilicate glass 3.3, also known as "bulletproof borosilicate glass," is a type of strong and durable glass that has been widely used in the manufacturing of bullet-resistant windows for many years. It is made from boron silicate which has a very high melting point and can withstand extremely high temperatures without breaking or shattering. This makes it ideal for use in applications that require protection from bullets or other projectiles, such as security guards' booths, military installations, banks and airports.
The most common form of bulletproof borosilicate glass is Grade 3.3 (sometimes referred to as BORO33), which has an impressive resistance to impact damage compared to its non-bulletproof counterparts. This grade of borosilicate was developed specifically with ballistic performance in mind and meets the requirements set out by various international standards - including EN 1063 (the European Standard) and UL 752 (the American Standard). The safety rating achieved by this product reflects its ability to stop different levels of ammunition travelling at different speeds without breakage or significant deformation; even when multiple rounds are fired consecutively at close range. As bulletproof glass, borosilicate 4.0 glass also has a remarkable characteristic of high transmittance. In this way, when used as bulletproof glass, you can clearly observe the external things through the glass.

- Q: the usage of glass in building construction has been in constant increase in the past decade.these glasses would certainly increase the volume of reflection in the atmosphere..doesn't this add to the temperature rise ?
- No. The light has to land somewhere. If the building is reflective, then the light lands on the ground in "front" of the building and heats that. If it is not, then the building is heated. Of course, covering up the grass and ground with building affects the heating of the air. And if you are near a reflective building, the direct radiant heating on your body increases because you are getting direct rays of sun and the reflected rays of sun from over there that would normally not hit you.
- Q: I wanted to build a glass ant farm but instead of using wood or plastic for the frame I wanted to use molding clay. Can I use the clay to build the frame to hold the two pieces of glass and to make a removable top or will it hurt my ants???
- Using plaster would be better than clay. Fired ceramic clay would also be fine, but that gets fairly complicated. If you use plaster it will be fairly easy, but you have to build a frame for your ant farm out of wood or use a suitably sized plastic or strong cardboard box. You could take a plastic box, put one plane of glass down. Use modeling clay to make the chambers for your ant farm. Make sure you connect them. Then mix plaster and cover everything so high you can still see your chambers. Put second pane of glass on it. After plaster has set, you should be able to remove one pane of glass, get out the modeling clay, then put the pane back on, you can use small clamps if necessary. Plaster is pretty good for an ant farm since it soaks up water. You don't want an ant farm to be absolutely dry, that isn't good for the ants. They need a certain humidity. Of course you don't want it really wet either, you'll have to observe the ants to see what they prefer. You can water the ant farm periodically or put one side into water so it soaks up some water. You also have to move the ants to a new ant farm once in a while, since the ant farm will become dirty. Make sure you feed the ants proteins and not just sugar. Make sure you have an ant queen. A good way to start an ant farm is to collect a queen if you see one outside. Since ants swarm, that is a good time to find a lot of queens. Make sure the queen doesn't have wings any more, only then she is mated.
- Q: I am making a stained glass panel with a lighthouse in it and I want to put windows and doors in the lighthouse. Do I cut them out somehow or put something over the glass
- Traditionally, you're supposed to pick or create a design that won't have you trying to have pieces floating in the middle of another piece because it is difficult to cut a hole in the middle of a piece of glass, as you may have discovered. I have cut round holes in glass but it was regular window glass, not stained glass which can be a little trickier to cut. If you want to try cutting a round hole and then grind or chip it into a square shape, go ahead and try but be prepared for lots of spoiled pieces. Something else you could try, though, is a fairly new thing--glass paint which can be found at many craft stores or art supply shops. Pebeo is a popular brand. It can be painted on and left, which should work if the piece will always be indoors and you don't scrub it to clean it. There is a version of the same paint which can be painted on and then baked in a regular oven, and it's supposed to be dishwasher proof so should stay on very well. I have used some of this paint and it seems to do what they say it will, I'm still testing it for wear and don't have a dishwasher so can't really road test it. Painting on glass, such as you see in church windows, used to be quite impractical for the average glass artist since it needed a kiln in which to fire it on to the glass.
- Q: Why do you need 3C certification for tempered glass?
- 3C certification has now covered tempered glass. Most large glass manufacturers, have been certified by 3C, and in the product on the note. Some small businesses, there may be no such certification, or did not realize that there is no 3C logo. Emphasis is that 3C is mandatory.
- Q: China's largest glass deep processing enterprises which
- China 's largest glass deep - processing enterprises Taiwan Glass Group, China' s largest glass of the original film, architectural glass company.
- Q: What is the difference between home insulation film and car insulation film?
- Home reflective film point, good heat insulation, automotive reflective film can not be too much, otherwise the traffic police will let the tear
- Q: Is there a place that sells glass panels to be mounted together so you can build your own glass dome bedroom? I don't mind a 7-8 foot wall and then a dome on top.
- Yes okorder / you can ask with the details of your requirements. They answers promptly. Now you can complete your dream bedroom quickly. Wish one day I can visit your home to see it.
- Q: I am looking to build an aquarium, I figured if I do it myself I could save lots of money. I am looking to build about a 200 gallon. At pet stores I have seen aquariums approx. this size and they would sell for around $900. I have called local glass companies and gotten quotes for 3/8 thick tempered glass and just the glass is about $1000 dollars. Does anyone have suggestions or knowledge of building custom aquariums, where I could build my own for a fraction of the cost to buy a new one?
- All okorder /... You can also make aquariums out of wood using fiberglass tape for the interior joints, Epoxy Resin to seal and a float glass pane siliconed to the front (I have made a few of these many years back).
- Q: I saw some of them in the high-rise buildings on the glass window posted a film, which can see outside, outside can not see inside, what is the film? Are you expensive?
- Building glass insulation film. good results! you get what you pay for!
- Q: What is the principle of self-cleaning of self-cleaning glass? Why is it called self-cleaning glass?
- Broadly speaking, self-cleaning glass is the ordinary glass in a special physical or chemical treatment, so that the surface of the unique physical properties, so that the glass is no longer through the traditional manual scrubbing method to achieve the effect of cleaning glass. The surface of the glass like a lotus leaf, the water on its surface will form a drop of water down, so dirty is not easy to attach up to achieve self-cleaning function of the glass. This type of cleaning nano-technology self-cleaning agent is a typical representative: ECOFRIEND-ING4 nano glass self-cleaning products! Glass self-cleaning technology in the developed countries has been very popular in Europe and the United States on the market almost all of the glass must be self-cleaning type. Therefore, with the development of cleaning technology wave, ECOFRIEND-ING4 nano glass self-cleaning agent this cleaning revolution "leader "Came to China, to the Chinese bath room to bring environmental protection, health and safety of the new concept of scientific development!
