Aluminium conductor XLPE insulated aerial cable

Aluminium—alloyed conductor XLPE insulated aerial cable

Used for fixed connecting. For softcopper cable, it is used for the leading wires of transformer.

Cable should keep some distance from trees when it is being laid, and it can touch the trees frequently when it is on operation.

2. Standards

It is manufactured in accordance with GB 14049-93, “Aerial cable with rated voltage 10kV or 35kV”.

3. Features

Rated voltage U(Um) is 10(12) kilovolts or 35(42)kilovolts. It applies to the system of the duration of single phase ear thing fault normally less than 1 minutes each time or the system of maximum duration less than 8 hours each time, but the total duration not more than 125 hour.

Ambient temperature should be not lower than -20℃ when cable is installed.

Maximum temperature is 250℃ when cable is shorted for less than 5 seconds for XLPE insulated cable.

For cable with weighted wire construction, maximum rated temperature of conductor is 90℃ for XLPE insulated cable.

Minimum bending radius is as follows when cable is installed:

for single-core cable- 20(D+d), unit: millimeter

for multi- core cable- 15(D+d), unit: millimeter

Note: D denotes the overall diameter of cable, while d means the diameter of conductor, unit: millimeter

Note: 1. K denotes weighted stranding wire. You can select the corresponding cross-section in the above table as practical engineering needs. In the above cable construction it does not comprise weighted robe when the gap of tower poleis so large that it is necessary to add a weighted robe.

              2. (A) means steel weighted stranding wire, while(B) means alluminium alloyed weighted stranding wire.

Q:what is the resistance of overhead power cables?
Search for resistances per mile aerial use' and you will find some info from Power systems stability handbook By Anthony J. Pansini
Q:Found a wire in my attic right by the hatch with about 2 of it burnt. I didn't see any bare wire exposed, but pretty close. It's not at a connection. There is a little bit of insulation singed around it.Maybe I nicked it when I climbed up there a few months ago? Maybe a squirrel or something was gnawing on it? I didn't see or smell anything dead.Or could it be it's just wired wrong?I'm pretty worried because it's connected to my smoke detectors that were wired last fall. I have 6 of them and they are all connected to their own separate breaker. So if it starts a fire and shorts them out I would never know.
Yes to above. Your wiring is probably to small of gage for the electrical load you are using. And the next time you may burn your home down. Don't delay.
Q:Some said that living near the power cable line might cause cancer because of the radiation from this powerline. Please help me decide. Thanks.
I did not buy a house because it was next to a power unit that powered the neighborhood. My brother in law is an electrician and he did not think it mattered, but I did not take any chances. I bet it would be hard for you to sell the unit in the future because they will not move those cables. I would avoid it.
Q:I need to wire two switches that connect to an electric bulb so that if I turn one of it to 'on' position the other switch should switch it off when I toggle it and vice-versa. i hope I was able to explain myself clearly here.
sophisticated problem. do a search over google. that will could help!
Q:I just plugged a 300V power cable into power supply that accepts 115-240V then turned on the power supply. The power supply was not connected to the motherboard. I don't have another cable so I can't really check if its still working nor do I want to try again with the 300V cord if it can potentially cause damage.
Where did you get a 300V power source? Why would you plug a 115-240V power supply into it? Didn't you need some sort of adapter to plug a pc power cord into 300 volts? Or was it just an ordinary power cord with 300V stamped on it? If that was the case, that would be the maximum safe voltage for the cord.
Q:i have Scientific Atlanta explorer 1850 and i need a four digit pin code to unblock parental control. is there a default pin code i could use??? is these some way to resent it or make the cable box like forget the password or something???? please help!!!!!!!!!1
No, You need to call your cable provider. If it was so easy, it wouldn't be much of a control, would it?
Q:I have an old craftsman Powr Panl (yes spelled that way) and it has an extension cord on it that has 10 individual wires on the inside. There are 5 dull white ones, and then five that are: bright white, red, black, green, and brown. Any ideas? This is the original cord, and was hooked up in 1950 at one point. Any ideas?
Standard colors for power cords these days are white (for neutral/return), black (for 'hot' - think bad guys in black hats, it's the wire that will zap you if holding onto the kitchen faucet when live and you touch it), and green (for ground). Note that the white wire is the return path that carries current while the green is usually connected to the case or chassis and should trip the circuit breaker if it begins to carry current. A guess? The name Powr Panl suggests that this is a power distribution panel with multiple outlets. It's possible the color coding was used to help track connections to ganged panels. Just a guess though. With perhaps more detail, a better informed guess could be made. What does the panel look like? How large are the wires? To what do they connect? Feel free to email for follow-up.
Q:Computer usb interface plug U disk why there will be: hub port surge
Before pouring in concrete, pre-buried. If the concrete has been poured finished, then there is a chisel to open a trench buried on it.
Q:I am trying to put a aftermarket starieo in my thunderbird. but I can not seem to find the speaker wire harness. I have one harness that the power goes to and i have that plagued in and working. But, I can seem to find the speaker set. The only thing I have is a square looking plug, the plug has 8 wires going to it, but i don't know if this is my speaker set or not. I don't want to start chopping that up till I know its the right one. SOME ONE HELP!
The square one is the speaker harness. My probe has the same setup. The best thing you can do is to buy a harness kit so you don't have to cut your original wires. Also, I'm sure your car has a factory amp, so you will need to buy an amp integration harness to use your factory amp. If you don't use your factory amp, then you'll have to run your own speaker wires because you'll get no sound if your amp doesn't turn on OR they most likely make an amp bypass harness that you will need to buy. If you have a power antenna, the harness kit will make it easy for that to work again too.
Q:I have a 2005 mercury montego premiere and just installed a new head unit. Everything worked fine. I have a pioneer head unit that plays DVDs but I didn't wire it to my parking brake when I first put it in. Today I decided to do so got it all out, then had an urgent call and couldn't connect it. As I was putting the radio back in, something sparked and started to smoke, (yellow cords where showing a little bit, might have touched metal) I took it to a car audio shop and tested the head unit, and it worked just fine. Could I have broke(shoted) the harness that connects the colored wires together and the other side connects to my car wiring(they plug in) OR could I have broke something with my car wiring. I checked audio fuses, they are fine. PLEASE HELP I BEG
The Yellow wire, is the Constant +12V. So, it is possible that you burned up part of the harness or factory amplifier if it grounded. Double check the fuse box under the hood, if you don't have power there. If it doesn't work, try the factory radio, if it works, the amp( if it has one) would be ok, and maybe you might just need a new harness. Double check all of your connections, and make sure they are secure, and completely covered. Good Luck!
