Q:What is a simple way to disconnect the damn light, because the breaks are fine, but with the panel light showing and not shutting off, it fails inspection, and i dont want to replace my break system.
Sometimes the wheel sensor will set a code even when its good. The reason? Brake dust!!! Brakes are made of metallic material, and this dust will build up so bad between the sensor and the reluctor, that it sees the wheel as stopped all the time, thus setting a code. Its a real simple fix to just remove the wheels, and clean away all that build up between the little wheel (reluctor) and the pick-up (sensor). As the wheel turns, the magnetic pick-up (sensor) generates pulses of electricty everytime one of the prongs on the (reluctor) wheel passes the magnet in the sensor. If it is clogged up with metal brake dust, it can't generated any electricity because it doesn't see anything passing, but has metal there all the time. The result is: the computer doesn't see a signal from the sensor, and sets a code because the computer thinks the wheel is not turning. The light will stay on. A quick way to test these sensors is to unplug the sensor, set a meter to read very low DC voltage in the milli-volt range, connect the meter to the two prongs on the sensor, spin the wheel and you should get a reading. If you don't, also try the very low side on the AC setting. I don't remember which it is but you will figure it out. 99% of the time, it is showing a bad sensor from the wheel when in fact the sensor is good, but won't generate a signal because the dust is caked up in there to where you can't even find the sensor. Check it out, and you will see what I mean. Also, If you have a reading, and still get a code, check the wire all the way back to the computer with a test light, but only after you have un-plugged the harness from the computer. Glad I could help you, Good Luck!!!
Q:So if i understand this correctly, Most nikon DSLR's have an actual assist light or halogen light that shine against a subject to focus in low lightand Most Canons use the "flash" to focus and then flash again to take a picture in low light, assuming your gonna use flash. Is one system better then the other? Deciding between a Nikon D7100 and a Canon 70DBoth cameras are pretty nearly equal from I've read. This is a "major" deciding factor about auto focus, but is one better then the other form your experiences or knowledge? Like faster then the other, or would a pre flash force subjects to blink etc?
The Canon pre-flash autofocus assist has a serious disadvantage. It never ceases to amaze me how quickly people react! Take a group shot with the flash; the autofocus flash fires; everyone decides you have taken the photo and looks away just as the exposure is made. That said... The onboard flash on any DSLR is utter garbage so why would you use it anyway! If you use a Canon speedlite then they have an autofocus assist system that projects a red hatch pattern and works extremely well. My 20 yr old EOS film camera has one of these red beams built into the body. If only Canon had carried it over to their DSLRs!!
Q:In addition when I first start it the idle is sometime too high and lowers after running for a few minutes. And sometimes it cuts off while I‘m driving either idle or accelerating. I start it back up and it runs. WHAT IS GOING ON WITH MY BABY?
Why did you replace the radiator? The high idle on start up is usually do to the cold start idle adjustment.Cutting out can be too many things but i would start with a tune up. Take it to a repair shop and have them do a diagnostic test on it for the check engine light.
Q:in my 1994 mitsubishi expo when the brake is not on.then after awhile it shuts off.the guy at firestone said the brake fluid was dirty and a little low, but he couldn‘t just change it or add more in , he would have to check for a leak in the system first , and that would cost about $600.but when he dipped his finger in it and I drove away, it shut off.It did this again today and after warmed up , it shut itself off
Air in the system will not make the pedal stiff, quite the opposite, it would make it fairly light and also ineffective unless you pumped it, your problem could be in the thrust bearing or perhaps pedal pivot, but that's doubtful.
Q:I‘ve checked the coolant level and its fine and the indicator still stays on, so im not sure if its electrical or not? Another question does anybody know where the canister is on the audi a4 99 1.8t wagon?
Sounds like your vehicle might have air trapped in the coolant system. I'm not a auto technician, but I seen cases where the coolant light appears on. You can try bleeding the air from the radiator. Here is some information that I found on maybe getting rid of any air in the coolant system. Again, I'm no auto technician. I try to pick-up a little information here and there. As far as bleeding the air, leave the radiator cap off until fully warmed up.If you have overfilled the radiator a little spillage will occur as the thermostat opens, this is normal.Since the cap is higher than the thermostat it should bleed the air out by itself.
Q:I am driving a V70 Volvo and the oil hasn‘t been changed for 6k miles and 9 months. Now the check engine light is on. My car stalled on me once at a stop sign other than that it‘s running great. Could it be that my oil is old?
On cars today, there is a service engine maintenance light, as well as a malfunction indicator check engine light. If you haven't gotten scheduled, regular maintenance on your car and a technician hasn't reset the maintenance light, it would have come on. This is normal. If it is the check engine light, you should have your stored code checked at a dealer or a local parts store. If you haven't changed your oil for 6k miles/9 months, then the chances of the vehicle's OBD2 (on-board diagnostics) system indicating a failure via the check engine light is slim to none. First, unless your drive trips consist mainly of short ones that lead to heavy oil dilution (condensation, unburned fuel) due to low oil temperatures, 6k miles is for many cars, unnecessarily EARLY to change the oil. If you look at your owners manual, it will probably recommend at least 6k miles for normal driving. Oil change companies recommend 3k miles primarily to get business, based on severe (frequent short trip) driving style. If your engine uses oil to actuate solenoids in the oil circuit, and you have heavily diluted oil, the OBD2 system could potentially detect a slow response in the system. The best way to find out is to take your car to a dealer or local auto parts shop to have the stored code checked.
Q:Poor headlamps
Find a repair circuit for you to check just fine
Q:Hi.My sister has a Hyundai Accent 2001, and the check engine light turned on. we really dont know why.now, one of the head lights got burned out. and we were wondering if the check engine sign could be warning us about the head light. is this possible ??Thanks D
seems as though a lot of people trust auto zone to do diagnostics.all they do is read the screen.as a person trained in computer diagnostics,i know that what the screen says isnt always whats REALLY wrong.different systems can fail causing OTHER systems to read out ofparameter and set a light.auto zone is there to sell parts, which is what will happen if you let untrained people diagnose your car.go to a reputable shop.pay the extra money and have it done right the first time.ive seen people spend hundreds on stuff they didnt need, then come to me and a $0 part,or a bad connection fixed their car.
Q:Why is the car bulb easy to burn? Where is the problem
Circuit board problem
Q:That would get rid of speed limits, car crashes, road rage, and kind of problems that the world has with cars! Except gas
No, it would tend to be opposite, unless the car runs on tracks.
