- Q:My check engine light is on and i got it check at Auto Zone. It came up as an emission vapor problem. I replaced the gas cap.( reset the computer) It came back on. The motor is running fine and there have been no other problems. I search all the hoses for cracks and leaks and cannot find one. Any idea what I should do next before I take it to a garage?

- Its very possible but its only wired to the vehicle’s ignition system from the ones that I have seen and the installers from what I read are certified but at the same time they may have either connected the unit to the wrong power source or disconnected something and you need to have a professional auto repair shop look into this and if they find that it was installed incorrectly have them document this so that you can go back to the company and request a full reimbursement
