FAQ

I have noticed that most high rise buildings I have been in that are more than 13 stories skip floor 13. So if it goes up to floor 15, then it only really has 14 stories. Why is this, and do all builders do this?
That's true in most western cultures. In the east, they don't like the fourth floor.
What is the ceiling effect of the ceiling
Both refer to some extreme reaction of the dependent variable. The ceiling effect refers to almost all of the dependent variables showing a high score or a high level; the floor effect is that the dependent variable almost always exhibits a low score or a low level. When this happens, to avoid the direct result of the extreme results attributed to the operation of independent variables, to carefully check the relationship between the task attributes and subjects, such as whether the task is too simple or too much of the subjects and so on
We are dealing with bouncy floors in our mobile home. We pulled up carpet and padding and tried to pull up the plywood and it will not come up easy. My husband thinks that the plywood is glued to whatever is under there (after we removed nails etc it won't budge) Is it okay to lay an outdoor grade plywood sheet over the areas and do we lay the new plywood on the exact same spots or stagger them? Also, nails or screws to hold it down? Thanks!!
I have the same problem. After pulling up the pad I could see stains that could of came from pet urine.I kilz/sealed the old plywood before I applied my second layer of plywood. I suggest going over the existing floor. You may have to trim the jambs and doors down though. You should be able to see the original plywood seams,I would stagger the seams and joints. This will keep air from entering or escaping from the same joints. I would glue and nail my new OSB/Plywood.Of course you should find floor joist layout first and cut sheets accordingly.Nailing would be faster if using an air nailer.Ring shank nails should be used.Screws have the tendency to snap and break.Glue will help bond the layers together to avoid squeaks.
Because of the conditional twitching, there was a layer of not too thick carpet on the concrete floor, a layer of mats on the carpet and a bed sheet, and I did not know that it was good for the body, I am living on the 26th floor of the elevator apartment more

Hi, I might be installing a floating floor that uses plastic connectors to join each plank. They lock together great, however I can still feel the separation between each plank. Can I add clear lacquer to the floor after it is completely installed to give it a uniform feel?
You shouldn't. The factory finish is done under quality controlled eviroment. Any finish you put on will not last as long. If it is installed right, the joints are barely noticable.
- to the whole ,,, the best not only the beginning. - I search a bit, the site of the floor to induce the small Ding shares Ding Ji Ding Ding Ding stabbed inside the puzzle there are "5" the number ... ... - Will the 8K or 4K inside there are no "5" this
