Make sure that you regulaly clean the wood floors in order to prevent dust accumulation. We recommand to clean a small part
of stains as a testing ground to prevent too much chromatic aberration.
Dust and stain— use a hard brush dipped in warm soapy water to remove it.
Mildew— scrub with ordinary wood mode class agents, or bleach to rinse or wipe it directly.

- YOU MUST install the floors before the doors., BUT!!! if you are replacing the casing and door jams as well as the doors, you will need to install the jam (door frame) first. A) door frame B)flooring c) casing 4) door Doors come in standard sizes. And the new floor will lower the clearance distance in the original doorway. you would need to recut the new frame to fit. When you go to install the doors you should allow aprox 1/2 clearance to allow for air circulation etc. Most of the time you can cut or sand the door at the bottom to achieve this. If you are putting new doors into the old doorway, make sure the hinges will line up and the doors thickness will work in that frame. I am a carpenter, If you have any more questions or need advice feel free to email me. another reason the frame is first is so it doesn't sit on the floor, Hardwood floors expand and contract, this could cause the frame to move and the door may, scrape, stick etc.

- Q:We are dealing with bouncy floors in our mobile home. We pulled up carpet and padding and tried to pull up the plywood and it will not come up easy. My husband thinks that the plywood is glued to whatever is under there (after we removed nails etc it won't budge) Is it okay to lay an outdoor grade plywood sheet over the areas and do we lay the new plywood on the exact same spots or stagger them? Also, nails or screws to hold it down?Thanks!!
- If it is really plywood, and has no rotting, I would lay more plywood on top. However, if it is not true plywood, but rather chip wood or particle board, rip it up and get it the heck out of there. Nothing but trouble, that stuff. Better to get it out now, than deal with repeated headaches from it for years to come. EDIT: yes, the walls are built on top of the base floor, but if it is particle board, you can chisel through it at the base of the wall. It means that you will have to trim each sheet of plywood that goes near the wall before installing it, but so be it.
