Q:My family and I are traveling to Italy for 3 weeks. We‘re going to be staying in Venice for 4 days (home base) and want to make day trips to the Dolomite‘s and Verona. I found a few trails:Bocca di Brenta to MolvenaSciliar through the CatinaccioOver the NuvolauBut I‘m unsure as to how we go about finding the trails, what the best ones really are, etc. I‘ve never gone abroad and hiked so I‘m really new to this and any and all help is welcomed!!! Thank you!!
Venice (Venezia) actually needs number introduction, see getting there with hotelbye . This city has been a fabled destination for centuries. Just the title Venice is enough to conjure up a host of photographs, also for people who have not even collection base in Italy. From gondoliers in striped tops to the Rialto and the Bridge of Sighs, masked balls, wonderful barges, courtesans in gondolas and failing palaces experiencing roads made of water Venice is an incredible city. After the only bridge across the Grand Canal, Rialto Bridge marks the location of the island's first settlement, called Rivus Altus and has become one of many plenty of place that Venice must offer.
Q:how do these two factors work together to create karst landforms?
Karst topography is a three-d panorama formed via the dissolution of a soluble layer or layers of bedrock, generally carbonate rock inclusive of limestone or dolomite. those landscapes demonstrate different floor effective aspects and underground drainages, and in some examples there may be little or no floor drainage. some aspects of karst topography, inclusive of southern Missouri and northern Arkansas interior america of a, are underlain via hundreds of caves. The notice Karst is the German call for Kras, a area in Slovenia partly extending into Italy the place the 1st scientific examine of a karst topography become made. In Madagascar, the Malagasy term tsingy is used. you should get extra data from the hyperlink below.
Q:Warrior Kronik or Dolomite hockey stick?
i prefer the dolomite spine but its whatever fits you best
Q:Im looking into getting a new hockey stick. I really like the feel of the Warriors sticks. Should I buy a Dolomite Spyne or an 09 Kronik. Also let me know of your favorite stick. Thanks.
If you want one of those two I would get the 09 kronik. However, you have to consider the flex and the type of curve that fits you best. The stick I like is not used by many but it is great. It is the TPS Response Plus-85 flex-Messier curve. If you can find this stick, try it out because it is actually not that expensive.
Q:What are the best sources for magnesium?
Magnesium is actually quite a common element - making up 2.5% of the earth's crust. The biggest uses for magnesium are for its compounds. The biggest single user being the steel industry which uses calcined dolomite (calcium magnesium carbonate) as a flux. This makes dolomite the biggest single ore for magnesium. The second biggest ore is magnesite - more or less pure magnesium carbonate. About 20 million tons of magnesite are produced each year - as documented in link 1 below. Most magnesite goes into fillers - your toothpaste is mostly magnesite - as is the white stuff making up most of the pills that carry prescription and non prescription drugs. Magnesium oxide is made into refractory bricks for lining furnaces. . Sea water is another source - but much smaller - about 2 million tonnes per year - made by reacting sea water with calcined dolomite. A lot of this magnesium ends up as magnesium chloride, which is used as a deicer and a de dusting agent on dirt roads. Dow Chemical had a plant in Freeport Texas which made magnesium metal starting from seawater. This plant started in 1943 and ran until 1999, when it could no longer stand the competition from China. . As for magnesium metal, annual production is about 750,000 metric tons per year - of which 85% comes from China. The source for the Chinese magnesium is magnesite ore. There are numerous different processes to make magnesium - most using electrolysis. It takes about 10 kW Hr of electricity to make one pound of magnesium. There has been a lot of activity about magnesium in Australia over the past 15 years and there are no less than eight major proposed projects to make magnesium metal. (See link 2). None has so far got into construction. Finally if you actually want to buy magnesium metal - try link 3.
Q:I was wondering how can you convert fresh water into salt water? Thnx for answering!! :]
It isn't that difficult really. First you need to remove your gravel and your carbon from your filter. (of course all your fish need to be gone) Second you need to do a 25% water change. At that time either replace your gravel with sand or your washed dolomite. When replacing the water, you want to use a dechlor designed for salt water. Mix your replacement water at 4 x the salt amount needed for your tank. You will need a reef salt either synthetic like Instant ocean or a real one like red sea salt. Once you have replaced the water let it run. You should still have enough beneficial bacteria to continue the salt cycle. You will need to get a hydrometer as well as a salt water test kit. Allow your tank to run test as you go. you should not experience the heavy ammonia spikes like you would starting from scratch. A skimmer isnice but isn't needed so if you don't have one, don't worry. You have pretty much started a salt tank. remember your tank can cycle quickly but it will not mature for atleast 5-6 months so watch which fish you choose. Also, do not add too many fish too quickly.
Q:can i use chalk as a substitite for calcium carbonate ?
No, this would be a bad idea. Limestone and marble are calcium carbonate. Chalk and dolomite in the wild are made of Calcium carbonate and calcium magnesium carbonate. They react with acid to give you bubbles of carbon dioxide. However, chalk processed for use on blackboards or chalkboards is NOT the same. It is usually made from Calcium sulfate di-hydrate, the soft mineral gypsum. So check your chalk with vinegar or dilute HCl first. If it does not fizz, it is not a carbonate chalk.
Q:I need the names and formulas of all the calcium compounds and their physical and chemical properties for a school project. Would appreciate the help
you will experience an extremely difficult jerk then you will maximum in all hazard lose administration based on how briskly you're going, maximum in all hazard fly off the bike and be brutalized by the line floor. it quite is gonna harm
Q:where is the best place in europe to take a weekend break for a christmas market/shopping experience?
Gosh, depends what you are shopping for! If you are wanting Christmas decorations or just to get in that Holiday mood, then there are few places in this world better than Bavaria! Rothenburg, Munich, any southern German city would be amazing, but those are my favorites. Clothing, someone hit Rome.one word, FANTASTIC Any big city has something offer, but for me Europe is Old World and I want to feel that way at Christmas time. I would go to the Rothenburg Aud Taber for the Christmas markets!
Q:black shalemudrocksdolomiteorred sandstone
Red sandstone, as moisture and humidity has not leached the iron from it. Shale, mudrock, and dolomite are all rocks deposited aqueous conditions. Sandstones are typically associated with arid deposition.
