Q:Can I upgrade to a 9.6V battery pack? Thanks: You didn't get 1.2v battery. You received a battery pack made up of 1.2v sub-C cells wired in series Count the cells, if there's 7 1.2v cells then it's a 8.4v battery, if there's 8 1.2v cells, then it's a 9.6v battery.

Q:I have the battery pack for this phone, but it doesn't say in the directions if you're supposed to take off the layer of plastic wrap that covers all but the ends of the batteries. There is a small plug-in that goes from the battery pack to the phone, so the batteries don't actually have to make contact with anything other than that.We live in a town with a volunteer fire department, so I really want to get this right! :): Look at the voltage of the battery pack, it's probably 3.7. I've never heard of a phone burning up unless it takes a lightning hit. The plastic should stay on, it's protection from the battery leaking. You won't start a fire.

If it is not they will check with other battery and so on If no thing work thats mean u have an internal mother board problem Some of laptops has a voltage regulator inside but this need to open full motherboard for it.

Q:i recently bought a laptop and i was instructed that the initial charging time for the battery should be 8 hurs, but there are some people to say that such is a thing of the past and li ions no longer need that long of an initial charging time.: For the initial charge you need to charge it for 8-12 hrs. Then each time you charge it it will be fully charged in about an hour. The charge last a long time and the battery last a long time.

Q:I have a sprinkler timer in the garage that is both connected to ac and a 9v battery. The 9 volt battery fails a lot. It actually powers the memory of each sprinkler station and run times. When the 9v battery is too weak to power the memory , the entire sprinkler system shuts down and reboots but will not run. How do I rewire the memory unit so that it runs on ac instead. Such as ; hooking 4 AA batteries together, or hooking 4 AAA's, or two 6 volts, etc.: Connecting cells in series causes the voltages to add. If you want a 6 Volt battery pack, connect 4 cells: (-) end of load, - cell +, - cell +, - cell +, -cell +, (+) end of load [A diagram would be better, but I can't make one here.]

Q:I am building a small toy boat from basically nothing and was wondering if the 9.6 volt battery pack would damage the 3 volt DC motor used to propel it. The motor doesn't seem to get hot or sound bad when it's running. Will it hurt the motor at all, even if not running for very long periods of time? Thanks in advance to everyone helping!: It might hurt it. The rpm is running 3 times the normal rpm. It would be best to measure the amps used with a voltage meter running on 3 volts. Then use a resistor of the correct size to make the amps with a 9. volt battery pack. If you dont know what ohm search for ohms calculator put in 9.6 volt and the amps you measured from the 3 volt. It will calculate the ohms for you. You can find resistors are radio shack get a larger one rated formore than twice the wattage used (wattsamps x volts)
