Diesel Engine Driven Fire Fighting Pump

1.Structure of Diesel Engine Driven Fire Fighting  Pump Description

The diesel driven fire-fighting pump group can be formed with electric motor pumps and jockey pumps as an automatic fire-fighting water supply system (see tabel1). For more details, please see our document "Diesel Engine Control System". The system also can be connected to the fire-fighting center.

Being the auto-control unit, a separate diesel engine auto-control panel (programmable) carries out the system’s automatic start, run, auto-switch (the electric motor pump unit is switched to the diesel engine pump or the diesel engine pump unit to another diesel pump unit), auto-protection (warning and stop protection for the diesel engine’s over-speed, lower oil pressure, high water temperature, three-time start failures, low voltage of accumulator warning etc.) and also can be connected to user’s fire-fighting center or the fire auto-warning device with the purpose of remote monitoring.

Q:Does the IP55 indicate the lift on the water pump nameplate?
IP is INGRESS PROTECTION, that is, protection level,IP protection class is composed of two numbers, first numbers, from the lighting level to prevent intrusion of foreign objects, second numbers represent the tightness of anti moisture, waterproof lamp intrusion, the larger the number the higher the level of protection. Therefore, the pump IP refers to the pump with its own motor dust and waterproof level
Q:I had a re-manufactured water pump installed and after 14 months I started smelling my radiator occasionally. Never suspected the pump since my original pump lasted 60,000 miles and was still fine when they replaced it feigning quot;it is customary to replace water pump with timing beltwhen in actuality my Hyundai Elantra just needs the pump checked every 60,000 miles. The re-manufactured water pump was diagnosed leaking for sure after 20 months. Anyway I believe the leaking pump which didn't get discovered for at least 4 to 6 months caused the early demise of my radiator. Does that make sense? Thanks,Mitzi
Completely unrelated issues. Radiators usually fail because of these reasons. Corrosion. Physical damage. Something like a stone getting thrown from another vehicle and hitting the radiator. Blockage. Deposits build in a radiator that must be routinely flushed. If neglected this can block the passages. Most antifreeze should be replaced every 3 years or 36,000 miles. You generally flush the cooling system at this time. Neglect this maintenance and your radiator can fail. There is nothing that a water pump can do to cause a radiator to fail on most engines. About the only way I could damage the radiator is on a rear wheel drive vehicle where the cooling fan is connected to the water pump, and a bearing fails, the cooling fan can come into physical contact with the radiator. You would hear this making noise. However, your car has an electric fan so this can't happen to your car.
Q:Whats the difference between a faulty water pump and head gasket? The coolant reservoir has a quot;bubblingeffect when the car is running. I just changed the radiator and filled it. Most of whats in the radiator is water honestly. The car sounds a little rough and sputtery like a head gasket. The spark plugs are dry and I took the cover off and nothing looked watery or moisturous. I also had to change the head and head gasket a month ago. The head gasket didn't have any damage to it so I assumed the head was bad. I used a new head gasket also. Anything else I can check? The car is a 91 corolla.
sounds like head gasket and head. but first run the engine squeeze the big water hose from pump to radiator if you can feel pressure then pump should be ok as long as no noise from it. then i would bleed the cooling system to get any air out. your car will sound rough if air is in the water system. but if all is ok with that then it looks like the gasket/head and you will have to get head skim ed this way you can make sure timing is spot on and is not out. but also look for where air can get in water system thermostat house ect
Q:Pump performance parameters have three sets of data, how to understand the flow, lift, flow speed
1, the head is composed of a water pump design decisions, such as motor speed, power, blade shape; the flow is determined by the motor power and lift, the same power lift higher flux is small; velocity determined by flow and pipe section with a pump pipeline section greater velocity.2, the pump is to transport liquid or liquid pressurization machinery. It will be the prime mover of the mechanical energy or other external energy transfer to the liquid, the liquid energy increase, mainly used to transport liquids including water, oil, alkali liquid, emulsion, suspension emulsion and liquid metal, but also transport liquid, gas mixtures and liquids containing suspended solids. Pump performance of technical parameters are flow, suction, lift, shaft power, water power, efficiency, etc.; according to the different principles of work can be divided into volume pumps, vane pumps and other types. Displacement pump is to use its studio volume changes to transfer energy; vane pump is to use the rotating blade and water interaction to transfer energy, there are centrifugal pumps, axial flow pumps and mixed flow pumps and other types.
Q:i have a problem with what i think is my water pump, and i was wonder if anyone had any websites that have free engine diagrams, and if it is my water pump, it turns on and off when at idle, is that normal, if not, what could be the problem?
How to tell if you have a leak do this a dusk look to see if water is coming out of the sides are at the bottom. use a flash light. If the car is running HOT its possible that its you water pump You can have it pressure Checked.
Q:I have a 1998 ford taurus. It started to over heat so i turned on the heater full blast and it didn't get hot. so i put antifreeze in it and i turned it on and it seemed ok but it started to over heat again and the tank for the antifreeze looked like the cap was going to pop off. I was just down the road from my house so i thought if i drove slow i could make it home and it turned on ok but when i put it in drive it stalled. Does this mean its the water pump??????
If your water pump goes bad it leaks. A Lot. You can watch the water pour out from under your car like an open faucet, car running or off. If you are having cooling issues and must get home or to the shop slowing down will only make it worse. Your radiator is designed to use moving airflow to cool the water system. Even if you have little water in your radiator the air will help cool everything under the hood... to an extent. Between 50 and 60 are the best speeds for cars low on water. Trust me. If you're not seeing any leaking water then it could be one of these reasons: Radiator clogged. Thermostat bad. Head gasket.
Q:I drive a 99vw jetta and the coolant was leaking from it i took it to a repair shop they said the water pump was bad and that the seals on the water pump where bad that was defiantly where the coolant was leaking from. I replaced the water pump and drove my car this weekend no troubles, then this afternoon my coolant light came on and i put coolant in my car and it just started trickling out i called the repair shop they said it may just be a loose hose or clamp, is this true or am i looking at something worse than the water pump that has to be replaced?? or would that issue have already came up when they where looking for where the leak was coming from before it was repaired? please help
The pump may have indeed been bad. Did the shop put on the new pump or did you do it yourself? If it was done by the shop, take it back and make them fix it correctly. You have already paid them for the work. If you did it yourself, it should be fairly easy to spot where the leak is coming from. It is also rare but possible that the pump you put on was bad out of the box from the parts store. Not likely...but slim possibility. Hopefully it is just a loose clamp or hose.
Q:I've noticed after driving my car for a while recently it squeals while accelerating. I'm wondering if its the water pump cause I've had a coolant leak for a while. I poured alluminum sealer in the reservoir and its stopped the leak almost completely though. If it was a broken pump, would this sealer have stopped the leak like it has? I drive a 2000 saturn sl2
If you have ample room to change a water pump, go for it; however, keep in mind some cars use that belt for timing. If the belt is also a timing belt, take it your branded dealer.
Q:I think my water pump has crapped out on my 1997 Jeep Cherokee. I have been leaking coolant for a few days now and there is a puddle under my Jeep after I turn it off and my reserve tank keeps emptying out on me. I replaced the lower radiator hose and still the same problem. It is not over heating so I am wondering if it IS a water pump problem? If it is, could I do the work myself?
Special tools? What? They are real easy to do. You need only a 1/2 wrench, 5/8 socket, 9/16 socket, 8mm and 15mm. Remove belt (15mm to loosen tensioner pulley, then to loosen adjuster). Remove electric cooling fan (2 8mm bolts at top). Use 1/2 wrench to remove 4 nuts on viscous fan and remove fan. Remove water pump pulley (4 1/2 bolts). Remove hoses from water pump. Remove 2 5/8 bolts that secure water pump to P/S bracket. Remove 4 remaining 9/16 bolts holding water pump to block. Remove water pump. Installation is reverse. No special tools required. I've done hundreds of them and can do one in about 1.5 hours.
Q:Where is the water pump located on a 1998 dodge dakota sport?
The fan is mounted on the front of the water pump. Find the fan and right behind it is the water pump. Should be a big black circle looking thing. I know the water pump is not round. I didn't mean it was round. The thing the fan mounts to is round, which is part of the water pump. Yeah I noticed that too bluto: kinda funny
