- DO NOT crawl under your car with a tire jack!!! That could be the last thing you ever do! Use a jack and jack stands or ramps. Test shake the car before you get under it. You also have to remove and replace your oil filter. Oil goes into the oil fill hole on the valve cover. The cap should twist off.
