I want to find a blanket for a horse I'm leasing because hers is in really bad conditionHow do I know what size to get for her? Be as specific as possibleThank you!
Honestly, it usually takes me 2 people unless you have a patient horse who'll stand still! I usually measure with a rope or baling twine that I've tied together, just make sure you mark it clearly.! Measure from the center of the horse's chest- OVER the largest part of the shoulder ( it has a tendency to want to slide over or under it, but you have to hold it ON IT)- OVER the belly - OVER the largest part of the horse's hip- and then to the center of the tail/buttocksIf you measure with rope or twine just use a regular metal measuring tape to get the inchesAlways go up an inch if your horse is inbetween! Good Luck!
I have thick african-american kinky hair that's in twists right now but I want to straight it sometimesWhat good ceramic straighter is good for straighting and curlingAlso, what heat proctector do you use? Thanks.
I would suggest a piping called ' drain tile' - its a perferated black plastic piping that comes in a large roll, i believe it also comes with a wrapping to keep debris out but will let water disapate from itIf buried deep enough, driving over it shouldnt affect it - it does need to be surrounded with crushed stone for water dispursment The only problem with a solid piping is when the water reaches the end - it'll need some sort of dry well /container or way to disapate the water ( leaving it open critters can make nests in there or accidently run over with the mower)Different sized elbows ( suggest a 45 degree for better flow) should fit around the downspout end - an air gap will need to be left so water can flow easier Kidd
I have a home built Yagi antenna, and for the 5 elements on it I used 14 guage copper wire (stranded) (I am not using high wattage)Do I need to strip the insulation from the copper wire for the antenna to function? (as you might have guessed, it is not).
We cannot help you but ill tell you that is not normal.
I really need to update the insulation to my basementWhat is there has been there for almost 30 yearsCan I tack up new insulation right over the old or would it be best to remove the old and just go with newAlso the old is R11 should I use the same or is there something better to use.

Today, I have a water mark on my ceiling in the bathroomIt is 12 inches from the exhaust fanI went into the attic and removed all insulation about 2 ft from the fanThe area was dry! I checked the roof and it is dry because it hasn't rained in 2 weeksI ran my hand across all of the plumbing pipes and all were dryWhen you touch the mark, it does feel a little cooler than the rest of the ceilingHow did the water mark get on my ceiling?Someone said when the heat index is 110, that a house will 'sweat'Ok, IF the house is sweating why only 1 mark?
Well, old bonesThis happened to me some many years agoI ended up cutting out the ceiling to get rid of the mark, as painting did nothing to hide the mark, no matter how many or how thick the coats I plastered onI suspected it might actually be a fungus type moldAny how, once replace it never came backOther than that I have no answer for yoummalky
