I am in the process of building my first PC which will be primarily designed for gaming but will also be able to handle some light video editing at speed.I have already selected the majority of the parts and was just looking for some information, advice and answers to a few questions.1With CPU cooling, specifically the Corsair H80i or H100iDoes the thermal paste degrade and need to be replaced over time? What are the consequences of not replacing the paste if it is needed?2The case I am getting is a Zalman Z5 Plus and I didn't know whether the Corsair H100i would fit inside with reasonable clearanceIf not I would just get the H80i but the other is preferableMy Mobo is an ASUS ATX Sabretooth if that helps.Any other advice would be appreciated, if any other information on parts is needed to help give better answers or advice, just ask. Thanks!
THermal paste will need to be replaced overtime as it dries and if left your CPU temperature will IncreaseCorsair 100i will mostly fit inside of your case because it support Dual top 120mm fans and will probably support 240mm Radiator Advices: 1-Buy a silver based thermal based not a ceramic oneSilver will give you better performance as time goes on 2-Buy a Nvidia GPU not AMD better for vedio editing without much difference in gaming FPS 3-buy the CPU with the highest number of cores real or virtual for example AMD FX-8350 (8 core)will be better for vedio editing more than intel core i5 3570k(4 core) and it will give you better performance in new games such as Crysis 3 and small lose in older one except for BattleField 3 but Intel core i7 3770k(hyperthreating 4 real cores and 4 virtual cores) will be better than both
in my mobile home exterior wallsNow my first question is, is this a legitimate way to improve our winter utility bills? Secondly, since there is no way to blow the insulation down from above (no attic), I guess I would have to drill a hole at the top of each section (between the studs) to blow it inso with that said, would I go ahead and leave the pre-existing rolled insulation inside the wall and blow the new in, or would I need to take each wall panel off and pull the insulation out before blowing new insulation inside the walls?tl:dr1.is blow in insulation a good way to improve heating bills/can it be used in mobile home walls?2.can i use blow in insulation without removing the existing rolled insulation?
i need help with that too
I live in Tennessee and im wondering how heavy my mares blanket should be this winterShe is an Arabian and has some good meat on her ) Just wondering what you put on your horses in the winterThank ya )
You can't find any plans for a space elevatorBecause the technology to build a 40,000 km long cable does not existThere are very good reasons for thinking it will never happenBut a rail gun on the side of Mount Everest might just be feasible for sending freight into orbitHowever Mount Everest is a sensitive site, both politically and ecologically.
We HAD a leak problemThat is now fixedBut if you stand in front of the unit in the garage, the very base part (box shaped base) has insulation on all three visable sidesWell the insulation is totally moldy and mildewedA) Can I just tear that off (wearing gloves) or could I get electrocuted that way? B) Any safety issues with getting rid of that insulation? C) how do I replace it?I have a photo if that helps.
There should be a power switch installed on the side of or near the furnaceIt usually looks like a standard light switchYou can simply turn the power of the furnace by flipping this switch or by going turning off power at the breaker-box/fuse-panelHowever, it sounds like removing the insulation you are talking about, there is likely no chance of getting shockedIt is probably a sheet-metal/duct-work base that the furnace is sitting on and it is insulated so that you don't lose heat/cooling into the garage spaceSimply remove the insulation and install new or hire an HVAC contractor to do this for you.
I am Web-shopping for replacements of my worn bedsheets In the local weather-extremes (night-time temps can span from 80 F in the Summertime to 20 F in the Wintertime - and occasionally during the Spring season, both extremes can happen within a single night!) I hope to use a single set of sheets on my bed all year-long.I prefer Cotton fibers because cotton breathes much better and stays softer than any of the artificial fabrics.Which commercial fabric-blends should work best for my needs and which Web-merchants can you please recommend?I am in Texas.Thanks.
I LOVE 100% cotton flannel sheets Started using them in snowy winter for coziness, but find I even like them in hot and humid summer when just the sheet is enough cover without a blanket some nights Flannel seems to wick nicely and never gets that clammy feelingThere are different weights of flannel availableFor all season use - aim at a medium weightDown sides are some can shrink a bit if you use a dryer, some can get linty or pilly, and they DO seem to have a slightly shorter lifespan than the higher thread count flat cotton sheets, but I think worth it for the comfortI've had various brands over the years - more and less expensive - and think Woolrich are my favorites for long life, no pilling or shrinkageOften you can find great sale prices on them near and after the winter holidays - if you want to wait and try them on the cheapI've bought Woolrich sheets at Target - but they're likely available elsewhere too Sweet dreams! :)
