Introduction:

Tower Crane is a machinery used for vertical lifting and horizontal delivering of building materials and any other heavy items during construction process. It can lift and lay down, horizontally shift, and rotate, so the working range is very large. The whole body can be fixed or movable.

Features:

1. It has high working speed, good speed-adjusting performance, steady operation and high efficiency. Three-speed motor and mono-speed ratio decelerator are applied in the lifting struction, which enables heavy load low speed and light load high speed.

2. The range-change structure drives the dolly to change range on the horizontal arm, with good positioning performance. Planet gear decelerator is applied in the circumgyrating structure, together with moment-limiting hydraulic coupler, which can relize high load capacity, steady starting and reliable operation.

3. The crane has complete set of safety devices, which can guarantee the safe and high efficienct operation of the equipment. The machine is equipped with lifting height limiter, dolly range-change limiter, moment limiter, weight limiter, circumgyrating limiter, etc.

4. The operator's room is set independently on one side, with good vision field. It creates a good working environment for the operator.

5. Provide stepless speed regulation. Outstanding in working efficiency, operating stability and reliability,

6. This Tower Crane' s height can accordign to the actual height of the building and at the same time unchange the lifting capacity.

7. LVF: Frequency control, variable speed, smoothness and high stability, non-striking.

8. Moment motor, high stability, long working life.

Q:I'm looking for estimate including installation, vertical support beams, and bus bars. Details: rectangular shaped building 500 ft long split lengthwise into two sections. 500ft X 4lengths of craneways is 2000ft. The crane runways are bolted to building frame but are self supporting on I-beams (104 vertical supporting beams X 24ft. height). The crane runways can support 10ton hoists. The bus bars (electrical conductor assembly) run along all (2000ft) of crane runways.

Q:I know how to make cranes and I'm pretty fast at doing so but in pictures I see of crane leis the cranes look like they're folded differently so that they can be stacked on top of each other.. Can anyone teach me how to fold like that so that I can make a paper crane lei?
But I do different from step 11 on Step 11: Normally they fold along the red line. I dont. On step 10 you see the cross line in the center +. I then fold the right pointy toward the center. Do the same for all. Step 12: I the filp the right top layer to the left, same with the back side. Step 13: fold the bottom point to the top(one layer only) filp to back side, do the same. Step 14: flip right layer to the left again, same with the back side. Step 15: Pull and done.
Q:When should a crane be load tested?
if crane using regularly more then 8 hrs test should be every 4 months 8 months and full sevice at 12 months............ Load Testing Services ACECO provides inhouse vertical load testing services for load bearing equipment. Examples of equipment that can be load tested: ? Below the hook lifting devices ? Hoists ? Hooks ? Testing can be performed to meet ASME B30.20, B30.10, and B30.16 as well as ANSI N14.6. ? Standard inhouse 50 ton load testing capacity. ? Ability to test higher load capacity devices (Up to 5,000,000 pounds). ? Have tested up to 640,000 pounds (320 tons). ? Engineering manufacturing available to provide lift fixtures for test purposes. ? Can provide nondestructive testing of critical welds and critical locations. ? Inhouse capability to make weld repairs using AWS D1.1 qualified procedures and welders. ? Calibrated test weights available. ? Testing can be performed in accordance with 10CFR50,Appendix B Quality Program. ? Certificates of Test and/or Test Reports can be provided. ? Can provide onsite load testing services, including supply of calibrated weights.
Q:Just curious... I'm not in construction and always wondered...
little pieces by welly chopper
Q:can anyone help me in telling me how to construct an electromagnetic crane or help me find a website which helps with the steps in constructing one. thank you
Take a metallic bolt, and wind many turns of insulated copper wire around it, and connect one end of the wire to a battery, the other end to the other terminal of the battery through a switch. Now, whenever you press the switch, the bolt gets magnetised, and thus works as a crane (u can use it to lift small pins etc.) When you want to drop the pin, release the switch, the bolt gets demagnetised, and voila!
Q:My grandma has just gotten cancer and I want to send her a paper crane in her get well card. However, is it bad luck to send just one, do you have to send 1,000? I would like to send 1,000 but i don't have the time, experience with origami, or enough room in the envelope, and i only have till tomorrow.
A novice at origami (me) can fold a paper crane in a minute, so that's one-thousand minutes. (1000/60=16.666) so it'll only take sixteen hours. I'm only joking. Just fold one and write This may be only one crane, but has the heart of a thousand or something. (sorry for the cheesy line) I hope your grandma gets better, I know how it feels, as my brother has brain tumour.
Q:Where i live i get a damn lot of these come in my house.... I usually just leave them unless there are too many. This was before i was told that they are in fact one of the most venomous creatures on the planet. I laughed, but then was told the same by a friend.Im now Little worried about them coming near me. I understand they have no ability to sting but still... Should i worry about them flying around my house? I was thinking if i were to squash one, doesn't that mean the venom is now on my hand?!Are they really the most venomous creatures on earth? Or am i making a mountain out of a molehill? Thanks
It is a complete myth. Confusion can arise because there are three different animals commonly called daddy-long-legs - spiders of the family Pholcidae, harvestmen (which are arachnids, but not spiders), and crane flies (which are insects). The myth about 'daddy-long-legs' being extremely venomous was originally applied to pholcid spiders, perhaps because they often kill highly venomous species like the black widow. Because the name is shared by harvestmen and crane flies, the myth is now often applied to them too. It is false in all cases. Whilst pholcid spiders are venomous, their venom is far too mild to be dangerous to humans - it causes nothing more than a slight tingling sensation. Harvestmen and crane flies have no fangs or venom whatsoever, and are completely harmless.
Q:I have a question about cranes...does anyone know what the maiximim weight is that they can lift. A friend and I were discussing this and i was just wanting to know if anyone might have the answer. Thanks guys
Do not know where you live but I worked in a Shipyard in South Mississippi That had Cranes which picked up Modules which weighed 100 tons. Most were in the range of 50 to 70 tons the limiting factor was the range of the lift away from the crane. The further away from the Crane the less the load limit but the Cranes were rail mounted so they could traverse and carry the load anywhere. We had one Crane capable of handling 500 tons, a real monster. These are all located at Pascagoula Mississippi. Most were imported from Germany.
Q:Recently a pair of Demoiselle Crane had a chick, it was al healthy right from the very beginning, its parents used to feed him/her a regular diet which usually consisted of insects and worms, it is almost a 30 days old however since yesterday he is not standing or walking on its own legs but just sitting on the knees
Your baby crane might have stepped on something, But this is nothing like malnutrition, From what ive learned the crane may have a joint dysfunction in the knee but this very common in cranes, I really think you should take an X-ray of the cranes legs because,(and the baby cranes feet will expand over time) This could get worse. This is more than likely a leg dysfunction. Hope this helps.
Q:What are the three different types of Cranes?
