Q:Here is a picture of it...I want to make it white somehow I just loved the shape and how comfy it is and can't afford a $250 chair so I decided to get a $25 chair from craigslist and cover it to make it white instead. I have covered chairs and stools and a bench before but nothing with a complex shape like this. It's the arm rests that throw me off. How would I do this? Thanks!: The only thing I can think to do with it's shape would be to make a slip cover for it. You usually can find templates in books at the library, or even online. Other than that, it's a tough call. Slip covers are nice, also, because if you're going for white, you'll be able to wash it (plus cover the arm rests)

I think it is safe to assume that if Obama's health care plan gets passed in some form there will be changes in how the medicare process currently works. It is unclear whether it would be good or bad from the perspective of a disabled individual trying to get a new power wheelchair. In 2007 medicare paid out more than half a billion dollars for power wheelchairs - a number I'm sure has only grown over the past 2 years, so from a cash outlay standpoint it seems like it is a large enough line item for the government to try to enact cost saving measures that might impact your benefits. I think the best thing to do is to 1) get your power wheelchair now under the current rules if you don't already have one or replace your old one in case things do change, and 2) campaign for your right to a power wheelchair by continuing to do your best to be informed about the issue, make sure your friends and family are informed as well, and write to your representatives to make sure your voice is heard

Q:Both at work and home, I don't think I can find a chair to sit in that doesn't get uncomfortable, Any suggestions?: Unfortunately, Mesh seat and seat back prevents sweating and a multitude of adjustments to the seat the back, the height all bring comfort and prevent injuries from bad chairs. If you get a prescription from the doctor for an ergonomic chair, your company must oblige.

Q:In the process of sending question's in,..... the gas level's in my office chair have dropped over the last few week's or so, and as a result will neither lift or lower..... Does anyone know how to refill the gas.....Thank's.....( replying to question's on a low chair is somewhat uncomfortable.): :) You can go to an office supply shop and they'll sell chair gas cylinders. I've not had to ever do this but if you take them your chair and buy the gas from them they'll be able to refill it for you. They can also just give you the instructions on how to do it and you can give it a go if you don't feel like lugging your chair in there.
