The tile is made by high-density fiberglass with compound decoration wool on the surface and fiberglass wool on the back .The edges are painted. With the characteristics of square in edges    and angle,it will be parallel to suspension system after installation.

Product Applications:

The panels are udes widely in schools, offices, music studios, lecture theatres,
multi purpose halls, interview rooms, training areas and cinemas. They meet the
requirements of BB93 of Building Regulations for acoustics in school buildings and
are Class O fire rated hence meeting the Fire Regulations as well.

Product Advantages:

Saves headroom space because exceptional noise absorption effectiveness is achieved by low (30mm) material thickness.

Surfaces can be emulsion painted to any colour without significant loss in noise
absorption. Increase savings due to fast and easy installation.Lightweight and therefore are ideal for adhering to ceilings, which do not have a very high load bearing capabilities.

Meets BB93 standards for school acoustics as well as common areas in flats for Building
Regulations.

Q:I kinda left the sink on while i was taking a shower.. so when i got out my bathroom floor had water everywhere (about an inch of water)i mopped up the mess with towels but i forgot to wipe inside the cabinets (and that what caused the water to soak through according to my mom) now i'm being screamed at every. single. day.on the first floor if you look up, the ceiling pretty much dried up but theres 2 creases popping out. kind of like a loong 3-d v shape since the water soaked through and outlined the cabinets shape.and since my mom loves burdening me soo much, now my parents say that they lost 5 grand in our house's value T____Ti don't know if we're supposed to repair it, paint over it (though u can't rlly paint over it), or w/e.. does anyone know what i should do? don't tell me to call a repair man because my parents want to see their 'options' before they call themThanks.. :)
also go to youtube and look up patching ceiling and walls will help with seeing someone else do it.
Q:Is anyone familiar enough with asbestos to know if this ceiling tile contains them:It is clearly damaged and need to be removed if it does. Thanks.
No its a fiberglass tile with a decorative covering. Fiberglass is still an irritant though so wear gloves and a mask.
Q:Melamine plastic synthesis process, mainly the molding powder added in that process
There are many types of plastic products, a lot of classification methods.
Q:I have a den that has 12inch acoustic ceiling tile that drips water sometimes when the weather is cool.I have checked and the attic above it is thoroughly insulated. The tile was installed on furring strips direct up against the fiberglass insulation, with no drywall in between the two, materials. The roof has ridge vents and the soffits, has perforated panels. There is also a 4 foot recessed fluorescent light in the center of the ceiling that looks like a week-end novice creation, that leaks cold air around it,a little. I have lived here for 10 years and have had this problem, the entire time. Two years I had the roof replaced thinking that it would solve my problem , because the ceiling was sprouting wet spots, randomly every where. What can I do about this madness?
Pay for someone to fix it. 10 years and you didn't bother to think about water damages. It's more than visual damage.
Q:My insulation was installed paper towards the roof.
If it's in direct contact with the ceiling, the paper side should be down, as noted by most of the other posters. But if the insulation is in addition to something that was already there, it should be installed without the paper at all so that the vapor barrier doesn't trap excess moisture in the previously existing insulation.
Q:what is ceiling soundproofing?
A soundproofing ceiling is a ceiling that has been designed to cut down on the noise that is transferred from overhead to the area below a soundproof ceiling is a nose addition for people who live in apartment , but surprisingly many people who live in private home are also interesting in soundproof their ceiling
Q:Details: The house is a 3 story house. When showering on the 2nd or 3rd floor, the living room ceiling leaked. Not just 1-2 drops but we had to get a bucket and you can see the staining on the ceiling. This was 4-5 years ago and we stopped using these showers. No further leaking when NOT using the showers. The contractor opened the ceiling today near the staining and turned on the showers. He said that there was no leaking. What happened? Any suggestions? Thanks.
I have encountered this problem. It is one of two things. Either the rubber gasket at the drain is bad or the plumbers putty has failed at the drain. If you have a fiberglass shower pan, there is a metal plate attached to the drain by two screws. Once these are removed you have a collar which is screwed in to the mating piece on the underside of the pan. The other piece is glued to the waste line. Between the glued piece and the bottom of the pan is a rubber washer. This may be bad. I'd try removing the collar first and reapplying plumbers putty and reinstalling it. This can be done by using the handles of a pair of channel locks against the nubs that the screws go into. After doing that, test it. If it still leaks then it is the gasket. You will actually have to buy a complete assembly to get one as home centers don't sell them separately. It always amazes me how some plumbers want to start tearing out ceilings before checking the obvious. I can almost guarantee you that your leak is one of the two.

Q:What is fiberglass?
Glass wool is made of centrifugal glass wool Felt is Owens Corning (OC) exclusive patented centrifugal technology, the melting glass fiber and thermosetting resin-based environmentally friendly formula made of adhesive products, is A flexible felt made of fiberglass with a diameter of only a few microns and can be optically selected according to the requirements. It has a large number of tiny air pores, so that it plays a role in thermal insulation, noise absorption and safety protection, steel structure is building insulation, noise absorption of the best materials. Glass wool is a category in glass fiber, is a kind of artificial inorganic fiber. Using quartz sand, limestone, dolomite and other natural ore as the main raw material, with some soda ash, borax and other chemical raw materials into glass. In the molten state, with the external force blowing into the flocculent fine fiber, fiber and fiber between the three-dimensional cross, intertwined with each other, showing a lot of small gaps. This gap can be seen as porosity. Therefore, glass wool can be regarded as porous material, with good insulation, sound absorption performance.
Q:I would like to open the interior decoration materials shop need to enter what goods? How much cost? Where is the supply?
