Excavators are used in many ways:
Digging of trenches, holes, foundations
Material handling
Brush cutting with hydraulic attachments
Forestry work
Forestry mulching
Demolition
General grading/landscaping
Mining, especially, but not only open-pit mining
River dredging
Driving piles, in conjunction with a pile driver
Drilling shafts for footings and rock blasting, by use of an auger or

Hydraulic drill attachment

Hydraulic excavator capabilities have expanded far beyond excavation tasks with buckets. With the advent of hydraulic-powered attachments such as a breaker, a grapple or an auger, the excavator is frequently used in many applications other than excavation. Many excavators feature a quick coupler for simplified attachment mounting, increasing the machine's utilization on the jobsite. Excavators are usually employed together with loaders and bulldozers. Most wheeled, compact and some medium-sized (11 to 18-tonne) excavators have a backfill (or dozer) blade. This is a horizontal bulldozer-like blade attached to the undercarriage and is used for levelling and pushing removed material back into a hole.

Q:Where is the excavator worth 6 billion yuan?
Its name is Bagger. It was made in Germany in 2881978. It is the world's largest bucket wheel excavator. It took 5 years to build, and the cost was $100 million. You should not have been so expensive at the moment.
Q:I am looking for the part number of a hydraulic pump coupling on a Caterpillar Excavator Model 320B serial number 7GJ03-812
I was just there today ,,,, there is the websight
Q:What are the common brands of excavators? And the English logo (for example, the 31 excavator is SANY) is also written!

Q:A friend has told me that there is a product (he thought the name was something like Essomite) that is a liquid that when poured into a crevice or drilled hole in a rock or cement will harden and expand with enough force to crack the rock or cement material. He thinks that it is a product that was developed by a Japanese company. I've tried searching on the name but have come up with nothing. Anyone know of such a product? Thank you.
I work in the Concrete Industry and it called Betomonite (not sure of the spelling). Most people use a jackhammer, excavator, or a concrete saw to get rid of concrete. The other three that I mentioned would serve the same purpose, and probably cheaper. most of the Chemicals used in our industry are extremely expensive, and with times as they are right now, most of your contractors are trying to save money. Not spend money that can be saved doing it the conventional way.
Q:I was thinking about digging a couple pretty simple hole in the backyard for compost and dumping grass in. The only problem is that I am thirteen and my Dad doesnt' want to do do the digging. I've had past experience doing stuff with backhoes and even those big excavators. Could my Dad legally rent one and have me do the digging, or do I need to teach him how to drive it? :)
You sound like you're a pretty smart kid and have it together, so it shouldn't be a problem as long as you follow all safety and operating directions. Go with your dad to the rental place and listen to the instructions he's given without indicating that you're going to be the one doing the actual digging. What you're planning on doing isn't legal because you're a minor that will be operating heavy machinery and you won't be able to rent it under your own name. The others are right, if you damage the machine, your dad will be on the hook for any repairs, as he will if you cause any damage to your or your neighbor's property, structures, or vehicles. In most municipalities and counties, permission has to be gotten prior to digging, even on private property. Check with your local utilities to find out if there are any power, sewer, phone, or other cables running through your dig site.
Q:my hydraulic excavator SK04 is facing a sudden drop of pressure just after the engine heated up. Initial measured pressure was 4000psi but after half an hour drop to 2000 psi. Main release valves readjusted but no effect. The Arm Boom drop by itself to the ground even without opration. It occurs about a few hours later. Entire excavator has lost its power after engine heated up.
Have you tried cleaning the hydraulic oil filters? Sounds like they're clogged up.
Q:what type of toys baby boys will likes?
They do like basically vehicle types toys. Specially excavators, bull dosser, trucks and lorries
Q:I'm going to build a sign on my land that is approximately 30m x 12m and 3m above the ground.I want to design and construct it myself, so please look at my plans and tell me what I need to improve/fill in the blanks.16m I-beam (x12) (12m high sign + 3m above ground + 1m below ground to footings)Corrugated sheets for panel face30m steel pipe (x12) (to run horizontally to connect the corrugated sheets, and then I-beams connect to steel pipes)Footings (spread footings)excavate 1m for the footings using excavatorcompact soil using vibrating plate compactorpour concrete for footing?how do I make the footing and attach the I-beams?place sign structure with a crane truckThanks, and if I successfully make it I'll send some money to whoever helped me the most in a few months.
How many verticle I beams are you using? The foundation needs to go below the frost line. The strength depend on exact conditions of soil etc. However 1 meter does not seem deep enough for that size sign. But it depends on the spacing of the I beams. Also depends on where the sign is and what damage it may cause if it blows over.
Q:I Have a komatsu PC45r mini excavator and all of the sudden the safety stopped working. It is pulled down all the way but the boom is still not working. Any hints on where to fix that?
not going to look up your particular model but some have a safety interlock handle on both control towers, if so make sure there both down, if that's not the case then you have a faulty micro switch at the interlock handle, a faulty interlock solenoid, or a problem with the wiring, if its new enough to have a ECM then that could be another issue, in any case I'd suggest a mechanic.
