Q:I just bought a 150 dollar ceramic chi hair straightener at Target today. It works great, but I think that I bought the wrong hair protectant.I bought a Loreal Paris Studio line hair gel.-a frizz ease secret weapon flawless finishing creme-and a frizz ease style straight answer straightening spray.do these products actually protect my hair from my hair straightener?
Oatmeal and pineapple.
Q:What kind of merono wool fabric/textile Smartwool products use?
A bowl is a pipe that you can have in your pocket which is mostly smoked oit in the streets since its sneaky but a bong is a tall glass and has water at the bottom and can get higher off of it
Q:If I Take Fiber While I Am Dieting Will It Help? Or Make No Difference?
Electron configuration is basically the order that the electrons 'reside' around the nucleus of an atomThere is a pattern that it follows, with a few exceptionsTake the atom Lithium for exampleWe can look on the periodic table and see that it is in group 1, and has an atomic number of 3Since we know in neutral atoms that the number of protons is equal to the number of electrons we can say that Li has 3 electronsWe start first by placing the electrons in their ground state (the place with lowest energy) and fill the orbitals in increasing energy levels with electronsthe general pattern of electron filling goes something like this: 1s 2s 2p 3s 3p 3d 4s 4p 4d 4f 5s 5p 5d 5f 6s 6p 6d 7s s orbitals can only have up to 2 electrons in itp orbitals can have up to 6, d orbitals have up to 10 and f orbitals can have up to 14The 1s orbital can only have 2 electrons in itSo we fill that one firstLi 1s2 (the 2 should be a superscript)Now since we know Lithium has 3 electrons we go to the next orbital and fill thatSo the total configuration for Lithium is 1s2 2s1 For atoms with a higher number of electrons (say Neon with 10) you follow the same pattern Ne10 e- so: 1s2 2s2 2p6 Count the number after the orbital letters and make sure they add up to the number of electrons that are required for your atom.
Q:I just replaced all of the interior doors in my house (14) with 6-panel doorsThe flooring in my attic is 30 year old, 3/8 plywoodWhat I want to do is use those old doors to replace the plywood flooring in the atticStructurally, there's nothing wrong with them and they'd seem to make a better thermal insulator than the plywood. My concern is if they'll sag between the trusses over time with weight over themThey won't be loaded down or anything, just the usual attic stuffI'm tired of bouncing around up there as the current flooring moves like crazy when I walk on itI have all of these doors, so I figured I'd give it a shotThey seem to be a little stronger than the newer ones (as does everything it seems).Anyone have any thoughts?
Most hollow core doors are made of 1/8 thick Luan overlaid on 11/2 thick frameI wouldn`t recommend them for attic flooring, as they will not support any weight, especially if anyone is walking/crawling around up thereIf they were to step on the Luan only, they most likely would fall throughAs to the insulating value, yes, anything that traps air space increases insulation valueIf you were to cross your rafters with them, and then OVERLAY them with plywood/planking, it would be OK, otherwise, I wouldn`t do it if there is a risk of getting someone hurtAlso consider, is there any electrical wiring, vents, ductwork, etc, you would be covering?
Q:I have really curly hair but straiteners don't work, is there any way I can straiten it other than a straitener?
Is she claustrophobia or acrophobia? If it's one of those, it may take time to get her to the point where she can ride without panicking.
Q:.lights? The lights are definitely insulation-safe, but I would imagine that's more for pink fiberglass batt insulationWe have several in our attic with no insulation anywhere near them, so warm air leaks into the atticI would like to hand-place some quot;blow-inquot; cellulose insulation around the area to better insulate itThe only reason for cellulose versus pink fiberglass is because Home Depot doesn't sell the blow-in pink stuffAgain, this will not actually be quot;blown inquot; but placed around the lights by hand.
Did you at least try calling your vet? that would be very helpfulif you cant reach your normal vet call another oneDo you have peptobismol? I would give your dog a tablet or 2 teaspoons if you have any and if your dog keeps excessively pooping or vomiting but do give your dog lots of waterif you can access a store get your dog unflavored pedialiteif not just lots of water and try to give her a small piece of plain boiled chicken or meat so your dog can get some food in some times they prefer something other than dog food and plain meat or chicken is an ok substitute as long as its plain since excessive flavorings and condiments may upset your dogs stomachGood luck with your doggy.
Q:Monday thru friday three meals a day, that I can take off about 30lbs by JUNEHelp pleaseCalories, etcThanks
Because you are not using energy to keep you warm, a blanket will help regulate the heat.
Q:Which is better- a regular or extra wide iron? I am deciding on what to buyI have long wavy hair but next year I plan to have it at shoulder length (I think)I went to a hair salon and they said that people prefer the regular sizeI should have asked why, but I didn'tIf you use one, which size do you have and would you prefer an extra wide instead or vice/versa?
I wouldn't wrap them until morningThey only need to be watered when the soil is very dry and the flowers start to droop a little bitThey should be fine.
Q:Hi.I have Thick, wavy and frizzy hair, with good volume, and i am really intrested in Permanent hair straightening,as i love straight hair.I use ceramic flat iron, which works great for me,but it takes me around 30-40 minutes wenevr i do it and it makes my hair oily just the other day,but i still love the result as it makes my hair straight which i LOVE,I have read so many mixed reviews about permanent hair straightening,be it japanese or thermal reconditioning.I would like to know The results of it,and does it Damage ur hair and make them look ugly after some time.Or it works good if taken proper care?? Pls let me know ur experiances ,i would appreciate it.Thanks.
Hi, I am from Columbus Ohio, and I just recently got my hair permanently straightened 8/4/07 at City Cuts in Columbus, OhioMy hair is almost how you described yours except mine was very damagedBecause I have tried relaxer, perms and etcBut none of course have workedThis treatment has been the greatest investment I have ever madeI also have bleach on my hair and they were still able to do thisIt took them 7 and a half hours to do my hair at $80.00/hrThis salon I am talking about is the 1st one to open and this guy is incredibleThere are only 5 salons in the U.Sthat offer these servicesThis is what they have told meAnyways, I wanted a quick fix for my hairI am very lazy when it comes to spending an hour everyday using a flat ironBut now I can take a shower in the morning, walk out of the house with my hair wet and let it air dry and not have to worry about the humidity nor the frizzI was super scared to do this, but as my friends say I am a go getterBut I personally believe it is the best thing I have ever spent my hard earned money on! Good Luck to you and make sure you go to someone who has plently of experienceIf you want any other information or questions you can email me.
Q:I do FIOS installs for Verizon and I have tried everything to get the fiberglass out of my pours after workI live in FL so a long sleeve shirt and pants are out of the questionI have tried baby powder, really hot showers to open the pours then cold water afterwards, a pumice stone nothing seems to workPlease help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The fiberglass doesn't actually get into your pores but it gets stuck into your skin like little needles, that's why it itchesThe only thing i've seen that might work in such a hot climate is they make protective suits with either chilled air fed into the suit from a remote unit or a battery-operated cooling unit you wearHowever, they are expensiveWhy don't you contact your employer and see if they will issue you the necessary protective gear for your jobIf you stress that it is required because it is a safety issue, they might do something (no gaurrantee though).
