Q:I bought a 2nd hand camera and its a Cannon sd1100 isDo u know what this means i have charged it???
Apparently both battery packs are old and dead or there's an electrical problem in the camera. Rechargeable batteries are only expected to last for a year or two before needing to be replaced.
Q:I have a 7.2 volt 4200mah flat battery pack made by proboat, and it will not work. When i try to charge it just beeps, and when I run it the battery has no power. Do you have an idea what is wrong?
Defective battery? Defective charger? Defective contact terminals? Gotta be one of these!
Q:Electric car battery pack capacity 156ah on behalf of several electricity?
Automotive battery voltage is generally 12V, 12V * 156Ah = 1872Wh / 1000 = 1.872KWh is 1.872 degrees power.
Q:I have a DeWalt power drill. It has replaceable and rechargeable Battery Pack labled XR Pack. I want to know how to get rid of it safely and appropriately.
Y'know, home depot used to have boxes out for this purpose while advertising their greenitude, but they vanished in my area a while ago. Try googling battery recycling see what happens.
Q:I'm considering the Sony DSC W80 digital camera. It contains the Sony's NP-BG1 recharableable Li-ion battery pack. I am glad it comes with a battery pack that lasts longer than a standard 2xAA but:1. What is the lifetime of such a battery pack? How many reuses can i get out of it? 2. Are such Li-ion batteries or specially this Sony pack decent? Should i purchase a second battery pack and leave it on the shelf for a year when the 1st pack dies?
I wouldn't bother buying a second battery at this stage, because the battery that comes supplied with it will allow up to 340 shots per charge (which is a lot more than what other batteries provide). I'm not sure of how many times a battery can be charged, but it would be quite a large number of times. However, the real downside to this battery, is that it takes a very long 4.5 hours to fully charge it. But, you CAN buy a 1.5 hour, fast charger (which is an extra and expensive cost). Another very clever marketing idea from Sony, of course. If I were you, I would just use the one battery and takes steps to conserve it's life by turning off the LCD screen in-between shots, limit how long you review your images, and also limit your use of the flash. You can also turn off the LCD and use the viewfinder instead to compose your shots. Doing this, will give you lots more battery life. And make sure you give the battery a top up charge as often as possible. You don't have to wait for the battery to fully drain before you re-charge it.
Q:I have multiple electronic devices with Lithium Ion batteries: iPod, GPS, Nintendo DS Lite, etc. What is the best strategy to increase the life of my batteries (especially for the iPod, which is a pain to replace!)?For example, should I:- use the device until almost-completely empty, then recharge it full;- keep it on the charge when not in use;- recharge it once in a while, even if not empty;- etc.I've read in the DS Lite user's guide that the battery has roughly a life of 500 recharges. Is there a way to increase this; or is there something that I should NOT do to avoid reducing this? Thanks!
Oh. Any thing via rechargeable batteries should be maintained properly. Well, personally, I do these: (1) I never used them till the battery die down to a level the device will shut down (2) For my laptop, I quickly recharge the battery as soon as the battery indicator shows a level of not lower than 30% If you can, try opting for devices that comes without built-in batteries. External rechargeable batteries tend to have better life, and the good is that when recharging, it won't burnt the components within the devices. BTW if you keep these items for some time, be sure to charge up once every 1 month if you store it and left it unused. Else you could possibly kill the cells of the battery if it keeps on being idle for some time.
Q:If I plug it into adaptor in my vehicle does the battery pack need to be used as well? The directions do NOT tell me this.
you should incase of a power interuption, if it is on and there is a power interuption ,even 1 second the dvd will have start over, and might damage the circuits
Q:Do the nyco battery packs and charging dock or regular rechargable batteries work better for the Wii remote?
I use the ones for digital cameras (rechargeable). They are more expensive at first but last longer between charges.
Q:18650 lithium battery assembled battery pack method can tell us?
The basic principle of using lithium battery pack is the series voltage is the same, the capacity of the same.
Q:can i make an r/c receiver battery pack using regular AA batteries.
Sure , but if the model is drawing power from the same battery pack (eg an electric plane) you will find it expensive to use non rechargable batteries. Many models that have electric motors have high current demands , which normal AA batteries cannot deliver. That is why they use battery packs made from Li-ON cells or similar. Li-ON packs pack the most power verses weight. ,,in some models though this may not be important. It all depends upon your application.
