2. Usage/Applications of XPE FOAM FOIL

This is a new environmental protection heat insulation material. It is soft, light and it is easy to install. The material structure is aluminum foil and polyethylene. It become by the special mechanical processing. the product is tasteless and non-toxic; the new material is not only solves the hazards of the glass fiber and foaming kind of material which is brought to human body discomfort and the environment, and it is also can block the ultraviolet from penetration sheet metal, concrete, wood and ordinary insulating material.

Our group company research and development production of this new type of insulating material not only has good insulation, heat reflection, heat insulation, anti radiation function, but also play a good effect in moisture proof, heat preservation and energy saving effect of the building applications (roof, wall, floor). This product can also increase with a layer of PE knitting cloth in the original aluminum foil and the basis of polyethylene, thus it cannot changing the original on the basis, at the same time, it greatly enhances its tensile, resistance to tear strength.

Q:the noise when it rains is very loud. can I place an insulation material under the polycarbonate roof to reduce noise? Thanks: You can put it up there, but it's effectiveness at cutting noise would depend on the thickness of the insulation but you should not hope for too much reduction as the hard poly roofing is screwed or nailed directly to the rafters and is a good medium for sound transference.

Q:p/t deck on a commercial rubber roof do we need closed cell insulation under deck to protect rubber?: You don't need it to protect the rubberoid roof however considering the relatively low cost of the closed cell foam it would be cheap insurance to add it. A more pressing concern would be the drainage details.

Q:if you had snow and all the snow is off your roof and the house nex store has snow do we need insulation?: Yes,you do need to insulate your attic. Heat rises. If you look around the neighborhood and everyone else has snow on there roof and you do not than you need to insulate your attic because your heat is going through the roof and melting the snow off of it. Easy job to do.

Q:This is blocking airflow and I'm having it removed after I bought the house. There is already insulation on the attic 'floor'. This is double insulated and is not correct. Q:I work with rubber roofing insulation. How , other than long sleeves, do I deal with the after effects of being exposed to this insulation.: The talcum powder and clothing can only do so much. They can be effective, but can still lead to some itching once you are done working on the job. A cold (then warm) shower should be sufficient for clearing out the insulation and taking care of the itching.

Q:is it safe to put insulation in the corners where the roof meets the wall in attics?fiberglass in corners?: No it is not EVER safe! Roofing material needs to breathe. Anywhere that insulation is applied to the underside of the roof deck the roofing material will warp and then leak. You have to have a cushion of air between the underside of the decking and the insulation
