It is the optimal choice for both on-grid and off-grid power systems. CNBM Solar panel offers high performance of power per square foot of solar array. Monocrystalline silicon(c-Si): often made using the Czochralski process. Single-crystal wafer cells tend to be expensive, and because they are cut from cylindrical ingots, do not completely cover a square solar cell module without a substantial waste of refined silicon. Hence most c-Si panels have uncovered gaps at the four corners of the cells.

Q:I don't have a regulator connected as they are a little expensive for a pensioner, If I join the panels into line to the battery bank from the roof should that be OK.?
Two things on a regulator: a) It will optimize the charge to the batteries - and thereby distribute the most possible power to your active circuits during the day. b) It will prevent the power from the panels from boiling (no kidding) the batteries - no small thing as they are the second largest investment you have after the panels themselves. This is much more critical if you have sealed or Zero-Maintenance batteries. I strongly suggest that you get a regulator as it will significantly lengthen battery life. Follow the directions on the regulator for optimum input voltage and it will let you know whether all the panels should be in series, parallel or series/parallel. But cutting to the chase, you can certainly gang up panels as needed.
Q:So idk how to connect a solar panel to a battery ...is it like a series connection from the solar panel to the battery, or a parallel connection from solar cell to battery? (to charge) please and thank you
it depends how big the panel is. a small trickle charger (like a 2W panel with built-in diode), just connect + to + and - to - (parallel) to trickle charge the battery. The diode will keep the batter from discharging through the panel when there is insufficient sunlight. for a large panel (like a 220W 24v panel), you best go through a charge controller. the charge controller has 2 leads for the solar panel input, 2 leads for the battery connection and 2 leads for the 2v load. just follow the instructions to connect the panel and battery to the controller, and MAKE SURE YOU USE THE REQUIRED FUSES. very straightforward stuff -- just RTFM

Just had them installed on a development of 4 homes and they look goood! So far each user has free electricity during daytime for 3/4 of the year. If you live in a hot country - that's free A/C to keep you cool. The downside is that it is grid-tied so there is no storage, which means that if you use electricity to cook the evening meal - you don't get that free. What we advise to do instead is to make use of slow cookers that cook meals during the day - for FREE, and just serve it up in the evening as it keeps the heat. It would be more effective if you used storage radiators and heated hot water tanks for washing/bathing using it but this hasn't been added yet. It's free power all day - so what is there to complain about? The only catch I have found is that some power companies charge YOU if you export power to the grid - so just watch out for that, and design your system to avoid this if this applies, but most just don't pay anything - so you may as well use what you get.

Okay well solar panels only work under sunlight and it saves alot of electricty as compared to your normal switches.And it also saves money=D.One thing though...it only works under sunlight...remember this fact. Power storage simply means a device which can store power. Well a generator stores power and a power station too!! Otherwise they can't flow through our electric current..... So for power usage simply is like on the fan/lights/mobile/computers/modems/e.t.c are considered as power usage as you are using the power=P Well hope this information helps you!
