- Like all the other machinery, it takes practice. If you have experience on other machines, you should pick it up quickly. Try to find someone to let you practice on it for a couple of hours.

- the 210 part of a excavator classification is the metric weight, with a decimal removed from it.. in other words, 210 means 21.0 metric tons, is the weight of the machine, and so forth.. like a hitachi 135 would be 13.5 metric tons.. you get the point.. the only kicker is Cat.. they throw a 3 at the beginning of every excavator model, but the classification remains for the final 2 numbers.. like their 321 would be the same as a 210.. just ignore the 3.. 330 would be a 300, and so forth.. anything relatively the same weight will be close to the same machine in terms of size, reach, and power, give or take a little on the specs.
