Description of excavator:

The two main sections of an excavator are the undercarriage and the house. The undercarriage includes the blade (if fitted), tracks, track frame, and final drives, which have a hydraulic motor and gearing providing the drive to the individual tracks, and the house includes the operator cab, counterweight, engine, fuel and hydraulic oil tanks. The house attaches to the undercarriage by way of a center pin. High pressure oil is supplied to the tracks' hydraulic motors through a hydraulic swivel at the axis of the pin, allowing the machine to slew 360° unhindered.

The main boom attaches to the house, and can be one of several different configurations:

Most are mono booms: these have no movement apart from straight up and down.

Some others have a knuckle boom which can also move left and right in line with the machine.

Another option is a hinge at the base of the boom allowing it to hydraulically pivot up to 180° independent to the house; however, this is generally available only to compact excavators.

There are also triple-articulated booms (TAB).

Attached to the end of the boom is the stick (or dipper arm). The stick provides the digging force needed to pull the bucket through the ground. The stick length is optional depending whether reach (longer stick) or break-out power (shorter stick) is required.

FAQ of excavator:

Q: What are the main functions of excavators?

A: Excavator is the machine that can excavate the the soil of various types forcefully and then using hydraulic system a hydraulic force is generated and utilizing this force bucket is exchange with some other attachments then excavator can be used for multi-purpose. For exemple pile diver, hydraulic jack hammer etc...

Q: What are the main type of excavators?

A: Crawler excavator; Wheel excavator;

Q: What is the application of excavators?

A: The excavator has increased the work speed tremendously. It is used extensively in numerous fields, including the following:

•Wood removal in forests

•Normal grading work and landscaping

•Cutting of brushes with attachments

•Demolition of structures, and removal of debris

Q:Is there any jobs available for equipment operaters in West Virgina or anything in the pipeline industry??
Je ne sais pas ( I don't Know ) Bonne chance ( Good Luck )
Q:the post are very rustic almost like a tree in half do they have to have concrete around like normal fencing because the posts are morticed for the rails i have a 3 ton excavator with a small bucket any advice from an expert would be highly appreciated
Have put up a lot of fences... but not necessarily an expert. Good sources on the web in many DIY places... but in my opinion: A lot depends on the type of soil you're putting the posts in, and the climate. Dry climate and rocky soil would be less dependent on adding concrete. Moist climate and/or sandy soil would require something more substantial. And, it also depends on how high the fence is going to be and what you intend to keep in or keep out. In any case, would likely recommend treating the bottom couple of feet of the posts with a tar or creosote before installation to prevent rot and moisture penetration (Regardless of whether you use cement or not.) My experience, in rocky soil and an alpine climate, involved using a post-hole attachment on an International Harvester, a spud bar to break up rocks, and a supply of rocks to tamp back around the post once it was dry set. Six inches of large gravel in the hole. Insert post. Tamp large rocks around post with spud bar. Fill with dirt. Tamp some more. No concrete. Posts that loosen with time can be readily re-set. A slightly improved option, is to set the corner posts and gate posts in concrete and dry set the others. That works pretty well and saves some $$$. If you're going all out: treat the posts, drill the holes, bed with gravel, set the post, fill with concrete, slope the concrete away from the post, use bracing as necessary to maintain plumb. Can do a bunch or a few at a time that way. Make sure to cover the concrete with plastic as it dries to slow the drying and reduce cracking. Good luck. I'm sure there are lots of other good/better ideas as well. One nice option = the poly/vinyl fencing. Less weight. Very durable. Comes with instructions.
Q:Hi, i am creating a diy enclosure for my leopard gecko with a rock like substrate and walls using expanding foam. I would like to use a substrate to stick to the foam such as calci sand, childs play sand or zoo meds excavator clay.Impaction shouldnt be an issue as the substrate will be 'stuck' to the foam.Has anyone got any ideas as to which would look the best in a desert set up and whether it sounds as safe as i imagine? Many thanks
maximum fabrics has a combustion warmth of over 2 hundred degrees, so until eventually your heater is more suitable than two times as warm because it meant to be (ensuing in an truly crispy gecko) you gained't have a difficulty with it. That stated, maximum fabrics will not be the right absorbency on your gecko, and it is going to initiate smelling very right now. i could recommend paper towels or reptile carpet. you may even flow with tile out of your community ironmongery shop when you're in search of for for some thing with a touch more suitable ornament. not in any respect use a loose substrate like bark or sand, because the gecko can devour it and grow to be very sick. wish this became effective!
Q:Where is the throttle motor for the excavator?
There's a stupid way to help you. You can find it along the throttle line of the engine
Q:Okay here is the list of what I know you can hack:Guns on WallWindowsPerk MachinesDoorsTeammatesTerminals and Button on Wall(for the achievement)Mystery BoxPack a PunchExcavator ControlsDid I miss anything? If I did, please tell me what it does when you hack it.
I Dont think you can hack perks and mystery box,but i think thats everything
Q:is there any excavators in the Sydney area (Australia) that still dig by hand and how do i locate them?
Weird question. An excavator that dids by hand. You know even grave diggers use axcavators.Sorry I don't really understand your point
Q:Like what machines uses hydraulics/pneumatic systems?
Hydraulics: Water pump. Pneumatic: Air compressor out put used for spray painting etc.
Q:The boom cylinders (2) of a 350D LC John Deere excavator have a bore diameter of 145 mm and a stroke of 1520mm. The hydraulic pressure of the system can be boosted up to 36.3 MPa when breaking hard ground or lifting wet sand or gravel. What is the maximum extending speed of both cylinders. Assume all the engine power of 202 kW is converted into hydraulic power.I got 0.17 m/s but wanted to make sure if thats right. If you can show the step by step method of solving this problem. I would greatly appreciate it.thank you.
The basic formula for hydraulic power is proportional to the force and the flow. We can calculate from the power to find time and so speed. This is: power_watts = (force_newtons x displacement_meters) / time_seconds We need the time so: time = (force * displacement) / power The pressure is due to the resistance to flow. Determine the force from the pressure and the cross sectional area of the cylinder, where one pascal is one newton per square meter. area = pi * r^2 = pi * 0.0725m^2 = 0.016513m^2 The pressure is 36.3MPa. The force is: Force = pressure * area = 599422N. The displacement is the stroke of 1.52m, so from the above formula for time: time = (599422N * 1.52m) / 202000W = 4.51s The extension speed (velocity) is: velocity = distance / time = 1.52m /4.51s = 0.337m/s Edited later: I missed the point there are 2 cylinders. As there are 2 cylinders for the same flow, the speed is half of one cylinder: 0.337 / 2 = 0.1685m/s <== Answer (as for your answer)
Q:i been playing the new moon map with my friends i know how to stop the excavator but in round 26 both excavators came down wich i tought there was not going to be any problem because on the next round i was going to stop both with the hacking device so we went te teletransport and went to area 51 than teletransport to the excavator station where you suppose to stop them i did stop both of them than changed my hacking device for the mask than i went to tunel 6 and the scavator was not all the way up so i went to tunel 11 and the same it was not all the way up idk why this happend so there was not a way to get to the dome where me and my firends camp and that was it we only made it to round 29.have this happend to you? why this happend?
I had something similar once when I played with my friend. We couldn't find a way to get back to the dome, so we just decided it best to sacrifice a perk and let the astronaut guy hopefully teleport us to the other side of the excavators lol.
Q:Is construction equipment exciting?
Very exciting to operate and repair, especially the big stuff like excavators, motor graders, haul trucks, dozers, and bucket loaders!
