Q:Didn't really know how to word the question. Anyway I want to have the mini excavator delivered to my house and picked up as I don't have a big truck w a trailer.Where I want to dig is about a mile down the road and about 200m from there into some woods on land that I own. The terrain is pretty smooth but its a normal wood floor with lots of sticks leaves etc and can get a little bit hillyWhat I want to know is will I be able to straight up drive the excavator from my driveway to that location and back, or will that be too rough of a drive? And how fast do they drive?Side question, do they come with models with attached headlights as my work may carry into the darkThank you very much
It's simple to operate. Two hand levers. Push right turn righ, etc. Two foot pedals. Left operates the bucket up and down. Right foot press on toe, dumps bucket, press heal to pick it up. It travels at about 10mph, ride depends on the terrrain and the path you take, and most types have front head lights. Seat belt must be on to start machine. Red button will light if hydrolics are locked, press it to release, Going uphill, you'll feel like it's going to tip over backwards. You'll be fine if the bucket is loaded. Go uphill backwards if the hill is too steep. You'll burn desiel fast. Bring a 5 gallon gas tank for extra.
Q:Okay it's finally time for my to get my CDL (Commercial Drivers License) because now my boss requires it as I'm a heavy equipment operator however I use to pay my friend to haul my excavator to job sites for me. but he recently got into an accident and I honestly have no experience driving a semi-truck yet a lone a flat bed semi... how hard is it to drive one and reverse one? I'm nervous but heard from my friend that it was easy just took awhile because of the 8-hour classes + refresher classes after you take breaks from trucking.but I don't know how to drive semi-trucks! so I don't know if I will be able to get my CDL (Class A) are there schools that can teach me?
yahoo truck driving school in your area. what's the time limit on getting the cdl because you will have to take the tests which there are 3 combination.air brake and general knowledge at the dmv to get a permit then go through the school which will take some time
Q:1) what type of lever is the bucket on the dragline excavator attached to? where is its fulcrum?2) identify any pulley systems in dragline excavator. What are their functions3) the bucket of a power shovel is smaller than that on a dragline excavator. Why?4)what types of levers can you see in the power shovel? where are their fulcrums?5) since the load in the bucket requires so much engine power, why don't the engineers include many more pulleys? (Hint: consider the force acting between each cable and the surface of each pulley).6)

a) 700ft x 200ft x 85ft = 11,900,000 cubic feet c) The volume of garbage deposited in a fixed period of time. d) Covert feet to yards, 3 ft = 1 yd 700 ft = 233.33 yds 200 ft = 66.67 yds 85 ft = 28.33 yds 233.33 x 66.67 x 28.33 = 1,322,222 cubic yards

Q:My 5yr old wants an excavator cake for his birthday,i enjoy baking but cannot find a recipe anywhere, that shows you how to make one, and how to make the icing yellow, can anyone help please, thanks.
Assembled from a pound cake and Twinkies, this no-bake treat will please the crew at a celebration with a truck or vehicle theme, or at our construction party. Ingredients 9 1/2-by 4-inch pound cake 1 1/2 cups yellow frosting 1/2 cup light-brown frosting (white and chocolate mixed together) Chocolate decorators' frosting 4 mini chocolate-covered doughnuts Blue and green MM's candies Red and yellow gumdrops 4 Twix 2 Twinkies 4 (8-inch) wooden skewers, trimmed into two 4K-inch and two 6-inch pieces 4 yellow Twizzlers Rainbow Twists, cut to the same size as the skewers 12 chocolate cookies (we used Oreo cookies) X Instructions Cut a 2 1/2-inch-long section from one end of the cake. Frost the section's cut end and place it on top of the cake for the cab, as shown. Cover the entire cake with yellow frosting, saving about 1/3 cup for the loader and bucket. Spoon the light-brown frosting into a resealable sandwich bag, snip off a corner, and pipe a window onto each side of the cab. Outline the windows with chocolate decorators' frosting, then press the doughnut tires in place. Add MM's and gumdrops for lights and hubcaps. Use Twix to add a smokestack and loader arms. Frost one of the Twinkies yellow, set it on the loader arms, and add chocolate decorators' frosting details. Cut a 2-inch section from the other Twinkie, place it behind the truck for the bucket, and frost it yellow. Add pieces of yellow gumdrop for teeth. Slide the skewers inside the Twizzlers. Press them into the cake and bucket as shown, using dabs of chocolate decorators' frosting to join them. With a rolling pin or food processor, crush the chocolate cookies into dirt and sprinkle it around the cake. Serves 8.

Q:I am going to buy a weatherby vanguard with a Barska? 8 - 32x50 mm Illuminated Long - range Excavator Scope. I have not decided whether to get a .308 or a .223 i can get both round for 15 cents a round. I will be doing nothing but target shooting at 500 yards + so knock down power has no effect on my decision .I am deciding on the pure fact of accuracy.any advice appreciated thank you.
if you are used to shooting(can handle the recoil) at long range then I would opt for the 308, for the simple reason it would be less likely to be affected by wind, if you have access to a range that goes out to 500 yards then you will need to practice reading the wind, weather, mirage, ammunition(you should sight in with one load that is accurate and do not deviate from it)
Q:He also asked quot;Is that an excavator?quot; at 3 when we were driving through a construction zone and we've noticed that his verbal ability is more advanced compared to other children and asks a lot of questions? Is he quot;giftedquot; (look up intellectual giftedness to get a better understanding if you're not sure) and should we consider getting him tested? There are other things, but I just wanted to make this concise.
Yes, it's normal. Tested for what? At four, the biggest guide to being ahead of his peers is whether he can read or not.
