if it says,,, aluminum and chlorine react to produce aluminum chlorideand the answer is2Al + 3Cl2 - 2AlCl3.but i don't understand why the product have Cl3I thought it's Cl 2.and one more thingdoes the combining capacites have an effect on the formoula??help me!
Understand it in this wayAluminium (atomic no13) has 3 electrons in its outer most shell and in order to complete its octet either it has to take 5 electrons or has to loose 3 electrons, so it looses three electronsChlorine (atomic no17) has 7 electrons in its outer most shell and to complete its octet it can either take 1 electron (which is easier) or have to loose 7 electrons, so it take one electronNow one aluminium can give three electrons, therefore three chlorine atoms (needed one electron each) will take this from one aluminiumtherefore chemical compound that will form is AlCl3Now because chlorine is in the form of diatomic molecule (Cl2) so we can not just have 3 chlorine atoms (we can have either multiple of 2, one Cl2 means 2 chlorine atome, 2 Cl2 means 4 chlorine atom and 3 Cl2 means 6 chlorine atoms.) Now for three chlorine atoms you need one aluminium and six chlorine atoms (i.e3Cl2) will need 2 aluminium atoms to form 2 molecule of AlCl3Therefore the equation is 2Al + 3Cl2 - 2AlCl3 I hope it will help you to understand.
If I buy a case for an aluminum MacBook, will it fit a normal Macbook?
When food is in the freezer for long amounts of time and little air holes are in the bag.
So I bought this for my daughter from IKEA for Christmas and she is very excited to make her first project for grandmaThe problem is I opened it and there are no instructionsI know we need to arrange the beads on the little pegs of the pattern boards then I need to pass an iron over it to melt them togetherThe problem is, I don't know exactly howIt shows a piesc of paper (looks like wax paper) between the iron and the bead projectI don't want to start a fire or burn/melt the beads too much or ruin my ironPlease help asap - we were just about to do this and now my daughter is pestering me like crazylol! Thanks!!!
Use parchment paper (in the cooking isle with aluminum foils) not wax paper for the overlayThe wax could come off and get on your iron face then transfer to your clothes later When I did these years ago we only sealed one side, I don't see why you couldn't do both as the other person suggestedIt might make the image blurred a bit though Try the cotton setting for 15-20 secs on a test piece to see how you like the effectsThe more area you leave open in the design pegboard, the more heat gets to the board and can warp it a littleJust use little bits of heat at a time and never touch the base form and you should be good to go.
How to prevent aluminum foil from wrinkling?
Due to the strip shape is serious bad, folding formed in the process of aluminum foil coiling or expanding. Its essence is that its tension is not enough to make the box surface flattening. For a device with the tension of 20 mpa, the box surface flatness shall not be greater than 301. When it is more than 301, it will wrinkle inevitably. Due to the rolling aluminum box often bear the bigger tension than follow-up processing, some aluminum foil that just show the bad strip shape when rolling turn to wrinkle when cutting or used after annealing. Main reasons of wrinkling are due to poor flatness controlling, including incorrect roll grinding ,unreasonable roll shape controlling, unreasonable parameter controlling of rolling and cutting process, bad incoming material strip shape and incorrect strip shape adjusting and imperfect precision of sleeve or tube core. Main reasons of wrinkles: The large amount of pressure make the rolling uneven or coiling lack tension. Improper controlling of roll shape or rolling pressure is too low; Uneven thickness of billet, bad flatness or shear wave. Winding shaft precision is not good and the sleeve is not round. Improper control of pressing roller pressure.
Hello, I recently bought tuxedo brownies from a student who sold them for $13, and they came in 2 pans chilledThey tasted great and I am looking for recipeAll I can find are the ones where a hershey kiss is in middle, and that did not look like the 2 8x8 brownies that I boughtAnybody out there know?
Im fairly sure that these are cream cheese brownies, they need to be kept cold because of the cream cheese in the recipeBelow is a recipe for them, but Im sure there are lots of different variationsCREAM CHEESE BROWNIES 4 squares unsweetened chocolate 3/4 cup (1-1/2 sticks) butter 2-1/2 cups sugar 5 eggs 1-1/4 cups flour 1 8 oz pkg cream cheese, softened Preheat oven to 350°FGrease a 13x9-inch aluminum foil baking panRead through this recipe entirely before you begin, as you will need to divide ingredients into separate batters in order to create two layersMicrowave together the chocolate and butter on high setting 2 minutesStir in 2 cups of the sugar and blend wellStir in 4 eggs and 1 cup of flourSpread this mixture in the greased panBeat cream cheese, gradually adding remaining ingredientsCombine wellSpoon second mixture over batter already in panSwirl together lightly stirring with knife to create a marble-like patternBake in Preheated 350 degree oven for 40 minutes or until toothpick has grainy fudge bits but is not clean, like in a cakeBe careful not to overbake.
what should i make my husband and kids for breakfast?
Sounds like one I've been looking for, had it many times in Sia-gon AberdeenWill keep looking and if you find it ,let me know.
I have an electric stove, and underneith the heating elements there are these little chrome dishes meant to catch food I guessWhenever I boil pasta water always splashes over onto those and now they are covered in a thin layer of burnt black residueI scrubbed as hard as I can and I still can't get it all offIs there some secret housekeeper technique to remove this? Or is there some sort of strong solvent I can buy to take this off? It wasn't like that when I moved in and I don't want my landlord to take anything out of my security deposit.
Let them soak then try some steel wool scouring padsIf you still can't get it off go buy some new ones, they're not that expensiveBefore you use the new ones or if you can get your old ones clean, cover them in aluminum foilCut out the places where the holes are and fold it over where it fits snuglyThis should help in the future so you can just change the foil from time to time whenever it gets dirtyAs for the pasta boiling over, take a stick of butter and go around the top inch of the pot smearing a light coating of butterThis will help prevent boil over.
