FAQ

What are the advantages and disadvantages of a carbon crank over an aluminum one? Is it stiffer etc...? This is for road cycling by the way. Carbon arms that is.
Dura Ace crank-sets are as light as the carbon cranks. The carbon crank-set will transfer less road vibration to your feet, thus less fatigue.
Anyway, I had some cold pizza pockets in a metal bowl that I put in the microwave, and there were sparks flying everywhere, after 10 seconds I stopped the microwaveI'm worried I ruined the microwave, will someone please answer ASAP and let me know if I can still use the microwave, I'm going to BRB, i'll just put the pizza pockets on some aluminum foil and microwave them in the mean time just to be safeBRB
Whoa, hang on there - if you get this in time, you need to be careful from now onNow firstly, you need to test the microwave by just putting a fork insideIf it comes out cold, it's still workingIf it comes out warm, you need to double check using the following thing: Put some coca cola still in it's unopened bottle in and microwave that for at least 3 minutesThat should remove its fizzIf those both work, then what you now need to do is take the pizza out of the pizza pocket, that'll be what's causing the botherIf you have a small metal rack to put inside that'll help the pizza cook evenly.
Every one says that ferrets love tubing of ne sortand chew toysi got my ferret a dryer hose but its aluminum and she chews the ends and puts holes in itI don't knowwhat kind of toys to get for a ferret so can you guys tell me what kind of toys you got ya'll ferrets and whats their favorite and the games they playMy ferret has a sandbox.i got her a cat toy that had like carpet on it and she chewed that offi got her someting rubber and sticky from the pet store that they said was perfect for ferrets but that didn't work either.
There are quite a few tube toys out there specifically made for ferrets, I would always get something like that before getting a dryer hose or other similar itemAs far as dog toys go, never get ones made of rubber or rawhide (both of these can cause the ferret to choke) I have a ricebox that my ferrets play in, it won't cause as many respiratory problems down the lineIt's just a rubbermaid bin filled with 40 pounds of rice, and you can hide treats or toys in it for them to dig forThey also love chasing ping pong ballsNo matter how hard they try it is just a little too big to pick up in their mouth, and they just keep pushing it around and aroundAlso any plastic cat toys with bells in them are always a favorite, and sometimes toys with catnip are a hitMy ferrets have never liked catnip in itself, but they do go crazy over the toysJust remember that a ferrets favorite toy is always their owner, so make sure to play with her alotHave fun!
Ok, soYeahI fed my dog Oh Boy! Oberto beef jerky(The original kind) I was just wonderingIs it toxic for him? I don't know if it has garlicI checked the ingredients box on the bag and it didn't mention anything about garlicI read in a book that garlic is toxic for them and I got scared because he had eaten beef jerky and I didn't know if he would be harmedWill he be ok and is it fine to feed him that beef jerky? Btw, I don't give him big pieces! I give him fairly small pieces.
Jerky isn't toxic, and there are differing opinions about whether garlic is toxic or notBrewer's yeast tablets for dogs contain garlic, and I've given them to my dogs for nearly 10 years now with no problemsI believe cooked/processed forms of garlic are fine; raw garlic in large amounts can cause problems BUT, too much SALT is not good for dogs- and jerky is LOADED with salt Salt is mostly a gastric irritant- too much will make a dog vomit, and can cause diarrheaExcessive amounts (like a dog drinking a few bellyfulls of sea water at the beach) has caused death in a few isolated casesMy husband drives a truck for a company that exclusively hauls beef jerky; we always have big industrial-sized bags in the house, and my dogs have gotten small pieces with no ill effectsTiny bits, as an occasional treat, won't hurtJust keep the bag far out of his reach! If you want to give your dog jerky as a regular treat, you can make it yourself at home, in the oven, without any salt or spicesJust use plain meat (any type, but beef works best) cut into thin strips, place on a sheet of aluminum foil in the oven at 150 degrees, keeping the oven door just slightly open, for 4-8 hours or until the meat is dryDogs love it, and it's good for themGood luck :)

You dont need a CDL unless you are going to be driving a truck for themIf you are working in a car shop you dont need a CDL, or even a driver's license for that matter.
i have a bushmaster ar15 that came with a free float aluminum tube from the factoryi want to replace the aluminum tube with a carbon fiber one from a different manufacturer, but i was wondering if i would have to replace the barrel nut the tube screws ontoi want to know if the threads on the carbon fiber tube would be compatible with the barrel nut that came with the aluminum tube.
If you are looking at her Hiperform handguard, the barrel nut is integral to the handguardThe tube screws onto the upper receiver threads Most handguards come with a barrel nutLook at the specs for the one you wantYou will need an upper receiver holder of some sortThe Model 1 clamshell type works wellI put a Hiperform handguard on mineIt is lightweight and rigid.

Fiber supplements are totally unnecessary as you can get ample fiber from fruit and vegetables where most of your fiber comes fromThere is also fiber in grains and cereals but a lot more in fruit and vegetables.
