Q:When is it proper to press in a round of golf?
If you're going to press, you need to announce it after the completion of the hole (so everyone knows you've called a press before they tee off). Typically, you'll sort out your ground rules (I have an occasional game with some sticks who have automatic 2-down presses along with an automatic double-or-nothing on the 18th hole) so you know what's at stake BEFORE you tee off (and what you're on the hook for).
Q:a definition and explanation of the printing pressa histroircal explanation of how the printing press emergedhow important the printing press was in shaoping the modern world10 points to best answer
hard point. do a search on yahoo or google. that will might help!
Q:6th grade girl basketball coach, were going to be playing alot of teams that press alot and i need a easy press breaker for these girls cause we were put into the league late and dont have alot of time to work on it from what little i seen on acouple of teams play last year they play alot of man to man full court with an occasional double team.one advantage i got is i can have 3 or 4 descent ball handlers at the same time.but if i can countinously beat their press and force them to try to slow the game down i can put my best player in,shes hefty but a muscle inside we can shut from outside with no fear cause she boxes out so well shell get the rebound and in result give us 20 pts a game but shes so hefty she cant handle the fast pace game so please help me come up with a soluton thanks
My team used a very easy press break. It's a bit hard to explain, but when it comes together, it works like a dream. - First, you have two players on either side of the court, waiting for the inbound. - Once inbounded, the Passer, steps into the center of the court. - They pass amongst themselves till they find an opening in the press. - Meanwhile, there are two other people standing at about midcourt, on both sides. - The person at midcourt standing opposite the side the ball is on will run to the middle of the floor looking for possible passes. - If the ball is passed to them, he/she can either bring the ball up more or turn, and pass to the opposite side. Press is broken. Sorry, it's very hard to explain. Down below, I made you a picture to illustrate what I mean. X's are your team. Dotted lines are passes being made, and Solid lines are Where the players move. Hope this helps. I deserve the best answer because I drew you a diagram.
Q:im 14 years old. i had acne since i was 12 but it was never thatbad. my face is really clear now since ive been using proactiv :] but if i start using press powder will i start getting pimples again? will people notice when i use it when im not using it?is MAC the best press powder? how much does it cost?please give me good answers , thank you =]
it is about $20-$30 for a MAC pressed powder..I always used MAC but I think now I like Prescriptives better...it is much more expensive but it is worth it....since you are young you probably cant afford something that expesive so when I was young I wore Covergirl pressed powder it worked very well....plus it is affordable you can get when your parents take you to the store...your face will NOT break out
Q:what is the minimum amount of weight that a 6 foot tall, 160 pound 14 year old boy should be able to bench press?
There is no minimum weight any one should be doing. It all depends on how you were built. Try maxing out, see what you can do. And do repetitions of a certain percentage of that weight when you work out. Try 45% of your max. Then when that starts becoming easier go with 50% of your max.
Q:Hello, my bench press max is 285 I don't do dumbbell bench press often but I realized that I should put it into my workout to work the stabilizing muscles so how much should I dumbbell bench press? also for my incline bench press, I do 200 for 12 reps but should I increase it by 10 pounds?
Well, only you know how much u can handle an how strong u really are... just do a weight u can lift for 4-6 reps or 6-8 and do the dumbell press on a incline you should be good to do 75- 90 lbs im sure... on the incline so try that... see how it goes.. u can also drop down if its a bit much yes increase your incline benchpress.. its too easy for u... correction on the dumbell incline press when i say 75 - 90 lbs.. i mean 75- 90lbs dumbells in each hand.. not 75- 90 lbs total weight.. just making sure u know... lol :)
Q:I'm in Girls weights and I can barely bench the 45 pound bar. I can do like 3 reps and then my arms give out. (we do a total of 5.) I can squat 95, incline press 35 and hang clean 35. I really need to be able to bench the 45 pound bar. Thats like the minimum weight for my class. Any tips on building up the muscle fast or something?
you can do bench press type exercises using 2 dumbells a little less than the 45lb weight of the bar then build up your strength
Q:What are the benefits/results of both of these bench press'?As i'm not quite sure which one to do.
The incline bench press will focus more on the upper pec region whereas the flat bench will focus on greatly on the mid portion. You should include both in your workouts but not in the same workout. Steve Reeves alternated Flat/Incline every 3 months. Also, though you should include dips or decline bench press to define the lower pec line. A more effective bench press is done by bringing your legs off the floor with your knees against your stomach. Then bring the bar down to your neck or clavicle. This takes your legs out of the motion and puts the bar out of line with the deltiod thus hitting the pec more completely. You'll have to lower your weight a lot though.
Q:I am trying to become a Freelance Photographer and sell my photos to the local newspapers and other media organizations. I plan on taking pictures of crime scenes and different law enforcement / fire department events in my area.I've talked to a few people and they all told me that I would need a Press Pass. I am unsure as how to get one (I call the different newspapers and places like that and they say that they only issue them to their employees and are not for freelance photographers like myself). If I am a freelance photographer, do I really need one? If so, could I just create my own business and make my own press pass for that business?(I am in California, Los Angeles County)
When I was a newspaper reporter, we reporters used to laugh a bit at our friends asking us to get them a press pass. That was because, we felt, if you had to have a press pass, it wasn't going to do you much good. Yes, we all had press ID. But it was a point of pride not to use it -- just waltz up to the place or person and say, I'm from xyz news. How about that...(and ask your question.) But your situation is a bit different, I see. Okay, here's what some people in your situation (actually needing a press pass) did. We had a county press association, and when I was president, II made name cards for all the members -- even some who were freelancers like you. I think your idea of making yourself a news media with a blog is a good one. Print yourself up a card with your blog name on it, and your id for contacts -- name, phone#, email addy. I bet it would work -- make it _real_ official looking!
Q:I'm planning to open a shop on cafe but I want to know about deliveries. Do you have to bring the products to a post office and deliver them yourself? Or is it delivered for you?
what's cafe press and why do they want your social risk-free practices type, i does no longer provide it to them! upload: Does it have a BBB and likewise is it a secure website whilst inquiring for the social risk-free practices type?
